We've now confirmed that the Knockoff HKS + Xpipe > Real HKS

Where are all the X02 haters now haha.

Accord freak did you buy the exhaust new from an authorized HKS dealer? i don't think you would mislead us but that looks like the poorest quality welds I have ever seen.

all of the welds look they were done by an amature, i have seen real HKS parts bought from Authorized HKS dealers and all of the welds look like a robot did them not a welding student

Look at the welds around the H pipe those are not done by a professional but they do look similar to the ones on the passenger side where the repairs were made

Here is an authentic the welds look 100X cleaner

Even the knock off has better welds

look at this post. the HKS shitty welds on the H pipe is on that one too. resonators are distinct. REAL. They also posted the fake one.

This guy said his looked the same only more centered. Just looks like bad quality control.

My guess is that unit had work on it before by a MIG. Welds on the better looking ones look like TIG

the pipes are MIG welded. GTM modded car. same type of welds. most of it are MIG welding on HKS exhausts for the 350z/g35:

Moving on... back on topic: brand name doesn't always mean quality.

you guys have to remember, the HKS is a tuned exhaust for sound, have you heard an HKS exhaust that was dented, sounds completely different

Yeah same here. Most aftermarket companies don't fully research or engineer their parts...but they're quick to extend their hands when it comes to cash.
