I cant believe a 1500 dollar exhaust even just for sound would have half a pipe sticking out like that on both sides. I hope you do email them and then post it on the forum about what they say. Also let them know they should make an account on here and post up to clarify because they are quickly loosing the faith of the driver community.

I Sent an email to HKS here is the responce

The website you show is not how the exhausts are designed and we have been selling this exhaust since 2005 for the G35C. The 350Z exhausts have been in production since 2005 as well. This could be an isolated problem in which that customer can follow the standard warranty protocol for warranty procedures. The customer will need a copy of their receipt. The 350Z/G35C Hi-Power Ti exhaust systems carry a limited 3 year warranty against manufacture defects from the original date of purchase and covers the first owner only. HKS will determine whether a repair/ replacement is necessary after the product is shipped back for proper inspection. Thank you.

That's such a weak response. We need a detailed response from HKS to respond to the following: Is that pipe inside even supposed to be there? If so, is it just off center in this case? What is the purpose of the pipe (seems restrictive)?

Has anyone posted this on my350z yet, I'm curious to know what they have to say about this.

+1 on that. They have to answer

1. What a pipe is doing there in the first place.
2. Why it is not centered.

They should be able to answer these two questions. If the pipe is for some reason SUPPOSED to be there, ask them for a purpose. If it's NOT supposed to be in there, how the hell does that happen?
