$1500, damn you guys over pay for stuff. I bought mine over 4 years ago when they were the hottest **** available and paid $1100. Mine didnt look like that though, mine was cut up to fit the TN kit so I can a close look at it, since it sat in my garage for over 2 years (the mid-pipe that is)

Thats terrible Is there a way to see if this is the case without cutting in half? Maybe stick a tape measure or something through and see if it hits anything? I'm curious now if I should be looking at a different y-pipe if thats possible?

Measure the tape length from the end to the middle tube, then insert it and see if it hits something.

Personally I have never been a fan of HKS exhausts. Mostly MIG welded and over priced. Back in the day, their exhausts for DSMs had resonators that necked down to 2" despite advertising a 3" exhaust. Glad I have Fast Intentions exhaust on my G.

FYI, if you want to look at your own hks exhaust. put a flash light at the "Y" pipe side and look through the resonator side. you'll see it.
