^OP's running JWT S1's

 

True I have JWT S1 cams similar to what SG was using they had nismo r tune cams on their race car.

Non-rev without cams may not benefit, but the built guys, cammed guys, and revups will if the numbers are similar to SG.

I say SG to compare to because they are the only ones with before and after dyno with gains proven while Megan does not.

Do you have a before and after dyno with the headers? I checked out your vid on YouTube the car sounds mean.

 

Not yet.......I did get retuned by a dif tuner becuz I wanted to see if he could get me more....but it's a dif dyno.....so wen I get money I'll dyno on the dyno i usually go on to get accurate gains

Since you have a 03 I think the stock cams are holding you back. SG did a test on a non rev and it showed little gains compared to the rev-up roadster.

What dyno did you get tuned on?

 

oh for sure i know im being held back cuz im non revup but i wanted to make sure i got these headers before it was too late. good thing i did cuz he jus closed shop.

but yeah i've talk to sasha on the phone quite a bit and he said i should get the jwt c8 or c9 cams.....very aggressive. i was concerned about the low end loss of power on these cams but he insists theres very minimal lost of low end and they're running c10 cams special made not for the public.

but i've also been looking into the tomei 280-11.3 g2 cams

not sure what i want to get yet.......i already have 4.08 gears waiting on the side to be installed. jus waiting for my quaife lsd to come in


the dyno i usually go on with my normal tuner is dynapack the hub dyno one.

i last dynoed 260whp 251wtq......on a thread i made back then i had posted 266whp but i went to look at my dyno on my usb stick and it was actually 260 read it wrong.

the same day right before i dynoed my friends 08 350z nismo HR dynoed 277whp 253wtq

has all the boltons except headers.

also got a friend with a 07 g35 coupe with all the boltons almost similar to mines without headers and he dynoed 267whp 234wtq

 

Before and after same day will be this Thursday at RT tuning. Track times Friday best time before longtube headers on 20in wheels consistent 13.4@105 with cams.

Best time on stock 18's 13.14@107 without cams.

Numbers with cams on a mustang is 280hp/253tq the beforE and after will be on a dynojet.

 

What were your dyno numbers before cams?? And this is a revup correct??

PR-G35Driver, he doesn't have it on the same dyno. If we wait this coming Thursdays he'll be able to give us a good run down of the car without cam(264/232), with cam, with LTH. The results should be awesome I'm predicting. By the way, when are you getting your long block from GTM?

dsskyline, good luck to you man. From what I see, RTtuning is a great place to get our engine tuned. It'll be good to see how your car stacks up against kacz07 and 1cockyz which also got their dyno tune their.

 

My numbers before on RT's dyno was 264/232 on a dynojet. The tuned numbers for the cams was on a mustang at CIN 280/253 my before and that dyno was 253/242.

I don't compare between different dynos as long as there are gains over baseline. I'm hoping these headers get my tq up in the 250-270 range on their dyno and get me close or over 300whp.

We shall see tomorrow with track times Friday and Saturday to compare.

I will ask those 2 on my350z if I can overlay my numbers to compare since we are all tuned at RT.

 

Hey Gabe I was jus thinking about msg u.......so is it boosted yet?? I haven't made the jump with the longblock yet.....still saving. But I wanna throw cams in my current block jus to see how mug power I could actually make before I swap blocks.
