Is it a good combo? Would it increase the invidia exhaust sound or wouldn't? I currently have the invidia exhaust and I think is a bit quiet on the outside, do you guys think it will help if I add resonated HFCs?
FYI, the exhaust has 2 resonators already and im getting a good deal (I think) on the FI RHFCs.

I"m curious because right now I have an 04 coupe with FI HFC and I"m thinking about getting an Invidia Cat-Back system.
I currently have an Injen Cat back system and it seems like I have a lot of drone.
I was wondering if your Invidia had much drone...

Sorry for the late reply. I ended up getting z1 hfcs and the sound is perfect, no drone, and sounds awesome. Dont worry about drone with this exhaust, if you get this exhaust and you already have hfcs, its going to sound perfect with no drone. Maybe, to be technical, you will probably get like 4% drone, which to be honest is nothing haha

I ended up ordering the FI Cat-Back system. I rode in a 350Z that had the same setup...FI HFC + FI Cat-Back system...is was much better than the Injen cat-back that I currently have as far as Drone goes....It should be coming in soon ....takes 10 weeks or so...

 

I have the fi hfc and invidia gemini and my interior gets LOUD at about 2400 to 2700 rpm . Past that, its pretty dam quiet and sounds nice. It just sucks that i do alot of highway and its always in that loud range

Yep.... same here.
I have FI HFC and Injen Trackside w/Magnaflow Y-Pipe.
RPMs above 28-2900, it sounds awesome....but if you are in say... 4th gear doing 40-45mph..or 5th gear doing 50-55mph....and come upon a hill or something where you give it some gas...drone is bad.
I could change my driving habits and always keep the RPMs up .... Keep it in 4th gear going 50-55, etc...
My FI Cat-back system that I ordered is their "quietest" of the 3 models they have....I should have that in about 4 weeks.....I'll see how that is

 

FI makes great products, you won't be disappointed.

I recently went from FI resonated TP to FI RHFC. The resonated TPs were giving me rasp with the Amuse but that's to be expected with titanium exhausts. Great power but hated it so went back to OEM cats. Decided to pull the trigger with the FI RHFC and rasp is gone even with headers! 0 drone when cruising and rips when I get on it. If I were to go with a true dual exhaust in the future, I have no doubt I will be going with FI again.
