I'm debating on getting a CAI and was curious how much of an impact it makes on the actual sound of the car accelerating when it's an AT model not a 6MT. I've had one for every previous car (though they were manuals) and LOVED the sound they made when giving it gas. Is it similar in the 5AT? Which is a better buy for brands? Aem, Injen.. ?

If anyone has any sound clips PLEASE post!! I've done searches and come up empty handed!

Sorry I cant help ya with the intake question, Im searching the same thing myself right now. I think Im going with the Ztube/K&N or the JWT Pop Charger/Z Tube. With all the rain around here I'd rather keep the intake in the engine compartment...

Hmm debating on Injen or Fujita.. Any thoughts?

 

Ive heard good things about the Injen setup, and if I choose a CAI it will be an Injen. Did you ever have any issues with your CAI in your other rides? What were they?

 

No nothin before, just not sure it'll make a sound difference in an automatic

 

Im sure you'll hear some sound difference, maybe not as much with the 5at, but I would guess you'll hear a difference.

Nicely done Can't tell a HUGE sound difference though within the interior..

 

i have an 05 5AT and the injen CAI. there IS a big difference in sound in the higher rpm range and WOT.
