I for one, will be getting the MREV++ if it ever goes on sale.

Cant wait for this sale.

I'm curious about the dyno numbers. Are those true whp numbers and if so, are the Church's dyno numbers? The reason I ask is the Church's dyno churns out significantly higher numbers than we typically see on Dynojets. I'm just trying to get a basis for the gains.
I'm definitiely interested and I love adding mods that are basicially OEM and have to no downsides. The only thing I really worried about is removing the lower manifold. The manifold bolts sound really weak and many people have broken them which is a nightmare to fix.

DaveB,
I had the same concerns, as you. When I did the original MREV+ swap, I allowed my car to cool down over night and used an inch-lb. torque wrench. I think that some of the bolt snapping issues may have occurred due the cars still being quite warm and over torqing for various reasons.
I can't wait to get my hands on this latest version of the MREV.

There must be some 10MM Grade 8 type bolts out there we can use??? I noticed how weak the OEM bolts are when I took off all the old grounding wires from my 03.5 Sedan...I lost 3 bolts putting them back and the one underneith the car just sheered in 1/2 when I went to take it off...so the last thing I want to do is lose a manifold bolt.
When I installed them back onto my 05 Coupe for both the Grounding Wires and the CrawFord Plenum V5 I put on...I had the Inch/lb Torque Wrench set to 8''/lbs I believe...whatever the hell is recommended in the directions...anyway, no bolts, not one, actually made the torque wrench click...so I just stopped when they got a hair past hand tight...and I have since rechecked and nothing was loose.
I'm anxious to try this mod out myself.
Let me remind you guys that comparing different dyno's all around the country isn't very effective, but dynoing back to back ONE THE SAME DYNO with and without a mod is the entire point. Dyno's are very repeatable, but I've seen different dynojets be off by as much as 50hp to another dynojet. Maintenance, how old, calibration, etc.. all play a factor.
Just because joeblows car makes 250hp at the wheels, you have the same mods and only make 225.... doesn't mean you are shy 25hp
Track mph is what you can compare on a broad range, as long as the atm and alt are somwhat similar.

dynos are very subjective soif you really want to know what the net gain is do a before and after on the same day without coming off the dyno. otherwise even your own results will vary so greatly that they will not be comparable.

The MREV+ and the MREV++ are definetly not the same.

In any event, the deltas are real.
As far as bolts are concerned, the number one "gotcha" happens when a inch-pound torque wrench isn't used or isn't used properly.
Some people don't recognize the click point and turn right past it.
One Z guy literally used a "Breaker Bar" to tighten up his plenum while drinking and doing his installation outside and in the dark... and then wondered how he broke bolts.
LOL I've heard some amazing stories on how bolts got broken, but typically the bolt breaks because of the wrong tool being used, inexperience with a torque wrench, beer or simple carelessness.
Follow the installation manual to a "T" and you wont break bolts.
BTW: Attached is the independant dyno results performed by Nissan at the NNA facility in Gardena Ca.
Many more dyno results will be available tomorrow. There is a disussion of it on the Z board. Check it out.
