our leather seats suck~!!

i was cleaning and just noticed that our leather seats sucks. I already have cracking on the perforated front driver and passenger seats. Even after using mother's leather conditioner, my leather seats looks worst then before. Can anyone help?

Yeah Infiniti leather is trash, I had my driver side leather replaced a few months ago under warranty and brand new they feel like cheap dried out vinyl...my dads 5 year old Lexus with leather that he's never once wiped down feels softer and suppler than my 2 MONTH old Infiniti leather.

I love my leather, but it cracks easily.

My passenger seat took a beating this summer from my 86 year old, 40 billion pound grandmother that came crashing down on the seats several times because her legs dont really work that great anymore.

You should use a leather cleaner and a conditioner. Not the two in one stuff but but the two step process, because if you use any kind of cleaning stuff that is not leather safe than you run the risk of staining your leather.

The leather was ripping from the seat at the edge between the seat and the door. If you don't need to get it done, don't bother, the leather isn't going to be any better than what you already have, trust me.

That happens a lot to our cars I had mine replace a couple of months ago also because of that.

Fvck. I should have had it replaced on mine while it was still under warranty.

As for leather stuff. I recommend Zaino Leather in a Bottle and Leather Soft. it is a 2 step process, but it makes your leather feel amazing. It also makes the inside of your car smell like... idk really amazing leather.

I have had mine over 3 years now with no problems at all. Now I do clean and condition them three or four times a year. No cracks and only slight wrinkles.

BTW, this is no "Garage Queen" either, it sits out in the scorching sun all day nine months out of the year.

No pictures but it should be pretty obvious, just open your door and look at where the leather cover meets the plastic 'base' of the chair. If it's ripped, you may want to point that out to the dealer, if not, then you're fine.

My car has 84K miles on and the seats look great. I use Leatherique products. Keeps the leather soft and supple and the cleaner really works.
