Going to be mounting on my rear window too, on the top, hidden behind the ceiling.

Nope, interior, like a rear dome light that is wired up with the under dash lights.

I think everybody in this thread did it ourselves buddy.

I do offer this service to ppl in So Cal tho, including door sensor integration.

 

1) What Gauge of wire did you use for the extension?

2) Care to explain how you wired these into the fuse panel? I was under the assumption that these would just be installed the same way as the CCFLs...

 

1- 16ga wire.
2- Wire them into a circuit, all of which have a fuse, pick one that isn't used for a critical part of the car.
I chose to run a new wire from the battery to a fuse distribution block. Completely independent of the car.
