I'm one very excited G35 owner. Bought a one-owner, 2004 black coupe today! Black, tinted windows, Aero, Nav, 6MT, Sunroof, Brembo brakes, yadda ya @ 18k miles. Fully loaded it would seem. I think I got it at a bit of a steal, I'm not sure the dealer knew what he had... He had a second identical one he marked up 2 grand after my purchase went through ;-)

Anyway, I'm coming from a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT, can't say I miss her, but she was good to me ;-)

I've got 20 days to register, anyone have any spectacular ideas for a plate? 7 is the limit in my state.

I'm looking forward to threads here. As I did with my Tiburon, I'm looking forward to upgrading the electronics/sound. the Alpine W200 has caught my eye, anyone had a *negavtive* experience with it?

Finally, I never got around to performance upgrades with the Tib, but I'd like to do CAI at a minimum, I'm game for anything short of a super charger (for now...)

Congrats and welcome to Driver. LOL . . . A CAI at a minimum, eh? No problem there . . . Once you spend a certain amount of time here, your checking account will certainly shrink. Seriously, enjoy your new ride and your time here searching these boards.

 

All told with fees etc, it came to 31 flat. I had checked edmunds TMV and it came in at > 32 for the configuration.

How 'bout this in someone's rear view:

 

I'm pretty sure the dealer knew what he had. You might not be aware of what you got. Whenver there is a mysteriously low price there is usually evidence of prior accident. Look for signs of repainting, especially inside the door jams and also look for turned bolts that hold down the doors and fenders. Look for overspray on the trim and any rubber parts.
