I have a set of the original 18" alloys in my garage which I was planning to ebay soon. They have the original Bridgestone Potenzas on as well but have done some mileage. PM me if your interested in them.

On another note, my OEM rear spoiler is on ebay if anyone wants one without the hassle of ordering one from Japan or the USA.
Its blue BTW!

I run mines on Shell V-Power. Cost's a bit more but worth it.

On another note.

I am currently looking for a standard set of wheels for the V35. The standard 18's or even 17's the car comes on. Not caring about tyres as i am wanting to take my 20's off for the winter and get a standard set of rims with winter tyres on

Anyone point me in a general direction os some or where to get some 2nd hand??
Hi Im Bru,
its worth checking out your road tax,I think all skyline owners pay the same £185 for a year, irregardless of the C02 emissions.
Worth asking the question to all the other other uk 350 gt members,if you are paying more than £185 a year for road tax, please post

Direct from the DVLA website.

http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring...le/DG_10012524

So, if you have an older model Skyline then you see what bracket you are in and if you have a newer model skyline you pay a fortune if your car was registered in the UK on or after 23/03/06 which mines was as it was only reg'd last December. So if you got yourV35 say in 2005 then you would be paying less.
All of the V35's that i've seen up here in Scotland all have £220 for 6 and £400 for a year.

BUT!!!! I've jsut realised something. I am begining to wonder if the garage put the emissions through as a Z33 becuase you can check your car and the Z33 is the closest size wise.
But they do say this.

(From 1st March 2001 the annual VED rates for cars is determined by their CO2 emissions and type of fuel used)

No worries mov im glad it went to a fellow member,

you probably have the the best 5 AT box in the UK now as it has the upgraded torque converter and it also has a valve body upgrade so will withstand up to 450+ bhp. With the valve body upgrade you will notice the crisper changes through the gears up and down.
AS i told you the work was all done in texas by SGP racing here is the link http://sgpracing-store.stores.yahoo....raupvabof.html

Good news for me, TDI's put my engine which came in my new car with only
30k on the clock onto ebay and it has already met the £1000 reserve with another week to go so fingers cross i get a few people in a bidding war here it is

Welcome Gary,

I was coming to the track day and was going to stay with the rest of the skyline owners club lads in a hotel on Friday night but one of my new fuel pumps siezed up on the way and i had to get my car lifted and taken to Thurrock to be repaired. Luckily APS are going to send a new one free.
I think i damaged it the week before on the track at Snetterton as when i was on the long sweeping bends the swirl pot emptied and i was getting fuel starvation until i got on the straights and it picked up again. I reckon the pumps running dry under full welly is what buggered them up

Anyhow have you got any plans for your car ???

Talking oil and other stuff

Couple of things....
Normal day to day useage - with a heavy right foot - how much oil do people find their 350's go though?

And I'm looking at some early xmas pressies for the love of my life, just thought I would ask peoples opinions and suggestions
