Front windscreens

Got a question.

Would a UK 350Z front windscreen fit a V35 or would i have to get a windscreen shipped in from Japan?

I ask this as i got a pretty bad stone chip yesterday and hopefully it can be repaired but just in case of the worst case senario where i need a new windscreen i was hoping that with the areo-dymanic similarities of the two cars and part sharing etc would mean i could just get a Z one in place and save a lot of hassle.

Pretty sure it doesn't Bruce but one of the big 4 windscreen companies should have one in stock.

Thanx for your reply Andy, don't worry, I know what forums are like, I'm on mkivsupra.net every ten minutes (so my wife says) and I still miss stuff

Still looking about, still no black ones to tempt me, but still not 100% sure I want to own such a rare car (due to potential problems with parts etc).

Still looking at Evo's, Scoobys etc but keep coming back to the 350GT as it's such a good looking 4 seater car.

Will keep my eye out for a meet where I can come and have a natter.

Cheers

Yes, I've heard black ones are tricky to get hold of. Perhaps there aren't many around cos they're a bitch to keep clean . Yeah! The satnav issue is a huge one. Better off getting one without it or stripping it out and fitting an aftermarket one. It's a shame though cos I think the popup screen is so cool .

I'd recommend one anyway, cos I love driving mine .

When I first started looking at the 350GT, I got mixed feedback. In fact on one forum it started a bit of a heated debate (you know the one...."is it a Skyline or not"). But now I've found this cool bunch of guys on here, and also my local *** Car Club, problem solved .

Not sure of all the parts you'll need, but this page might help
http://www.japanparts.com/db/partsli...dle=2&small=13

Let me know before and if you place an order, cos I may be interested in the same parts

Thanks for the tip Tom. I'm just a bit worried that it won't be compatible with Japanese wiring. I've been told that the wiring on our cars is different from European and American wiring. I may be wrong.

OK, so who was that in a Silver 350GT in Ashtead, Surrey on Sunday afternoon? If it was one of you guys, sorry but I would have turned around and stopped you to say hi, but I was the lead vehicle in a convoy and the others were really keen to get back to Worthing. Nice looking motor.
