Igor, for what it is worth . . . After a long drive and my G is at running temps, I can literally place my palm on the top surface of the plenum. I did this for a couple of the guys at our last impromptu meet. That tells me that something is keeping the temps down.

05 G35 6MT dyno

Got my car dyno'd today. Mods I have are ztube + stillen cai + MREV. It was done on a mustang dyno in 3rd gear - do mustang's dyno lower than other ones?

Yes, Mustang dynos read lower because they do compensate for more things than dynojets or dynapacks. But that makes it arguably better for tuning... Is that a before and after or just the two best pulls?

i've been reading mustangs are 6-8% lower than dynojets, that might be overly optimistic but it would put me @ 260-265hp/ 230-235ft lb ?

Mine was done on a dynojet in 4th gear on a 6mt sedan. The runs are before and after I installed the mrev plus with the iso thermal valve closed. I graphed my best baseline run and my best modified run. Oh, I dyno'd with the stillen intake and z-tube before and after. There is a huge incease in torque around 4500 rpm. Truthfully, I can't feel that much of a difference, but it is definitly there according to the dyno anyways.

So is the final word on this MREV thing that it is just an OEM 03-04 lower plenum?

and a 5/16" plenum spacer.

There are other details to it too but thats the basis. Its a better optimization.

mrev

ive had mrev for 5 days n0w. I autox sunday and had 45 minute drive home. I have had more fun with this car since mrev. This was a long course 70sec. It was a blast to be able to break the car loose in 2nd and 3rd any time i wanted. The car accelerated well out of the turns.I
really noticed a great power delivery at the race. This is a must have for every coupe or sedan 6mt. What is amazing was the drive home. Doing 70 i could downshift to 4th and the car was a rocket. Again i come from a 350 hp wrx. This thing is amazing on the highway. There have been comments about the loss of peak hp, who cares. The car is way better in every aspect of performance. The car is a blast to drive. There is no comparison to the before mrev. I was like many, less than impressed with a 300 hp car. ITS CHRISTMAS, do yourself a favor and get it. This thing is as much fun to drive now as my wrx was except it handles better and stops better. There was 5 evos and i spanked them all including a guy that been autoxing for 17 years.
They were all cocky untill the old 3500lb yuppi mobile kicked there but, then it was nice care man. Thanks againTony.

Heh, I autoxed this weekend as well. I didn't do as good as last time due to my tires going to crap. But the car had lots of power. Even on one of my videos the guy said in my car that rode along, you sure this isn't a v8!?? lol

Gotta love all of these positive MREV experiences. Reminds me of when I first install this mod. I wrote to Tony, "Sir, what did you do to my G?" Pre MREV . . . Our G's were great. However, post MREV install . . . Our cars take on a whole new character for a much better driving thrill. The experience truly cannot be measured in words of any combination. You gotta feel the difference for yourself to really understand what all of the noise is about.
