Help!! VDC, SLIP, & ABS light all on!

Hey folks,

So I'm having major car issues right now and need some help finding a local shop that can help me out..

Problem description:
So after getting my car washed, I notice my VDC off, ABS, and SLIP lights were on immediately after they gave my car back to me. The car was still driving okay but decided to pull over and see what the problem was. When I parked, I couldn't get the car out of park! After disconnecting the battery and starting it back up, I still couldn't get the car out of park w/o using the shift lock button and the back brake lights no longer working.

FYI: One thing I noticed was when the guy drove my car under the washing canopy he left the hand brake on and it made a screeching sound, but it was only 10 ft drive. Not sure if that could have caused this.

This morning I took the car to Sawgrass Infiniti, and guess what.. They didn't know what was wrong either... But said they needed at least 4 hours of diagnostic time ($$$) to figure it out.. After doing searches on this site it looked like it was the brake switch and asked them to change it. They reluctantly changed it but didn't seem to fix the problem. The technician put in a new brake switch but didn't install it completely. Just plugged it in and pressed the button the brake padel would hit to see if my brake lights would come on.. No dice.. So they ruled out the fuses and brake switch (I'm not completely sold on it not being the brake switch)..

Need some recommendations on where I could go in South Florida to get this fixed ASAP! Everything seems to be running fine mechanically. Brakes are a little sensitive, but working. HELP!!

Had a date tonight...

Check the brake fluid level.

Go to autozone or pepboys and use thier OBD reader and see if it tossed any codes. You may need one that can read ABS.

Read this as well

Good luck man, maybe you can get it fixed before tonight, you still got some time

I had a similliar problem after changing a rack and pinion in the G35. It turned out to be the steering positions sensor.

i have a similar problm and i dont know wher to go with it....my handbrake, vdc and slip lights come on....but my car is very driveable. last time i brought it to infiniti they told me i needed to change the rear brake pads, but im not very sold on that idea, as they are fine to me (4mm). Im wondering if its because i need an alignment....maybe it causes the lights to illuminate? any ideas?
