damn not sure that I'm looking to spend almost $2k.

If that's the case I'm gonna have to deal with the stock system and save for a long *** time.

Just looking for some opinions.

Should I plasti dip my grille and rims black? Or just the grille black? The 19" forged rays are a nice color, would they pop a little more if they were black?

they wouldnt pop more at all. it would make them look cheaper.
but the black grille would look good-better if it were painted

Yea I agree.

I was looking to paint it a glossy black and keep the emblem chrome.

Just need to go buy the supplies.

I'm a bit confused because every DIY is different.

Should I sand, primer, paint? Or should I just clean with microfiber towel, paint, glossify?

What grit sanding paper should I start and progress with?

Won't sanding after the primer is down scratch it off?

Depending how bad of rash or imperfections there are.
Start with a 250, work your way up to 1000 before primer then smooth primer with a 2000. That high will barely take any off but it will be super smooth if done right.

Hey guys,

Figured I would show pics of my grille which is gloss black. Did the work myself and also applied Bat's overlays to the front bumper inlet in gloss black as well.

here are some pics

Looks very clean.

What tutorial did you use for the grille?

Also what are the overlays you're talking about?

^^ Pm'd you with my tutorial. Also if you look at the two lower vent inlets (portion just before the venting itself) on the front bumper, previously they were completely red. I applied a gloss black vinyl to that portion and in my opinion makes it look a bit more aggressive and unique
