I'm wondering how that will work..when I don't originally have that on the car and when you order the dd kit...the new a/c controller does...but I don't see 2 separate temp controllers for it to be dual control. Does that make sense???

Okay so basically...the button will be there when I order the a/c adapter along with the double din finisher but it's not functional...correct?

How do you remove the dash and the stereo? Is there a step by step instructions somewhere?

The speed sensor is at the OEM HU already, just tap in.
I didn't bother with the reverse, not really req'd.
It only provides position correction while in reverse...no biggy

How to watch video and operate NAV while driving:
_______________________________________________

Hopefully you didn't use every wire on the Pioneer wire harness. Find the wire you didn't use, and just pull it out of the harness.

I used the auto mute lead wire. After you pull it out, you will see that the wire has a connector on the end like this...

There is 1 empty slot on the harness next to the ground wire.

Insert this wire into that slot. You should feel it "click" into place...

Ground this wire and the E-brake wire and you're good to go!!

Great info..

FWIW, for those that installed the AVIC with a new amp;

I installed a "Matrix" 6 channel line driver from Audio Control,
it boosts the 2v outputs to what ever your amp(s) can handle.
It made an incredible difference in the system!
