ya i think it's against lower than 70% tint in the front.. lol maybe u can get a body shop to "certify" that ur tint is higher than 70%

BTW... when you get your certificate from the court/sheriff/CHP that says it's fixed I have actually had them scrape the inside of my window with a razor blade.

You can't just pay the ticket and roll. You need to remove the tint, get the sign off, then pay the ticket, then re-tint your windows, THEN you can roll.

You'll need to add a $100 or so on to the price of the ticket for removing & replacing the tint (total cost)

There are a lot of discussions here on Driver and every other forum regarding tints, loopholes and strategies. But one you should also remember is that if you know someone in the DMV, they are considered officer's of the court and can sign off a tint ticket and won't usually charge for it (but you gotta find the one super-nice DMV person that'll do it)

That way you need only pay the ticket.

no tint is legal in california! However everyone gets it, and cops just give fix it tickets out here as a joke.
