Car swayed side to side tonight on freeway...
Coming back from Commerce tonight on the 5 north my G started jerking from left to right all of a sudden. It then stopped for about 10 minutes so I figured it was probably a poorly paven road strip that I went over. Well 10 minutes later, it happened again. I pulled over to check the tires but they seemed ok. Didn't have my damn tire pressure guage with me so I couldn't check PSI. I'm thinking one of the back tires might be low in air and was the cause of this. What do you guys think?
On the upside, I did come up around $280 playing 3/6 Hold Em'. I also saw stern_rool'z (aka John) G there when I left. Hand of the night: I was dealt rockets, raised preflop in late position with many callers already. Flop is A Js 2s. Someone bet the flop, proceeded by a raise, a call, a re-raise, followed by me capping it. At that point, someone called my rockets already, but people kept playing their 2 pair and flush draws. My trip aces held up nice though

Zack, the 5 is f--ed up between about Atlantic and the area where it splits to the 10 and the 101. The road pulls you all over the place. Both north and southbound.
I didn't do nearly as well as you did. $280 is a good score at $3-6. Nice wild low limit games there at Commerce. I was playing the $9-18 until 4am and not really catching many hands except tons of AQ. Only 2 face pairs I had were JJ and 1010 and both of those got cracked. I had AQ about 10 times and only won once. I finished ahead, but barely....mostly because I kept folding. $34 and 7 beers and food is better than losing and better than a kick in the nuts.

Sorry to hear the cards weren't coming. Do you usually play higher fixed limits over at commerce? I played 10/20 one time online after I came up at a 5/10 ring game. It's too crazy for me. 2/4 and 3/6 are more for me. 3/6 is nice because people will let go of there hand when they know their beat yet paired with the board. In other words, "less fish." then 1/2 & 2/4. There's always a party at the table and everyone's having fun, but no matter what I play my A-game and most often come out on top or break even. I should try some of there other foods. I just get a hot dog w/ a soda like a college bum.

$3-6 online is vastly different from $3-6 in the casino. Online plays very tough at anything above $1-2. The $9-18 players at Commerce are almost as bad as the $3-6 players, and sometimes worse. Sometimes it is folded around, but on the weekends, usually not. Commerce plays this way at $20-40 as well and even at some $40-80 games(I have never played that high). Online $10-20 is a shark tank, and not worth playing unless you are very good. Commerce $40-80 is probably easier than online $10-20.

Oh, on topic: Last night I checked tire pressure and the right rear tire was at 18 psi. I inflated to around 35 and the problem was solved.

At Commerce, the highest game they normally spread is $100-200 LHE and they also run a $5K buy in No limit game. I have seen Ben Affleck playing that game.
There is no $5-10 limit holdem at Commerce nor is there a $10-20.

5k buy in is the max I've seen online and live. Have you ever played in any of the NL tourneys at Commerce? Do they have offer 10 man NL tourneys?
