Nice! Too many internet racers get all concerned about dyno numbers... but the real proof is in the vastly improved driveability of your car.

Is there anyway i can get it reset when i add my mods or no? Im not familiar with it really

Also his directions said you change the tune choice by pressing in the accelerator and holding cancel? Is this the case? or is every car set up different?

Any input, tips, hints would be so much appreciated. thanks in advance!
You don't press the gas pedal, you press the accel switch on the steering wheel down and hold it, then press cancel for the map you want (ex map 3 you would push cancel 3 times and then let go of the accel switch). The "set" light should blink 3 times confirming you are in map 3

Also, you should be able to get it customized to your setup by visiting a tuning shop, maybe 100 - 200 dollars. My tuner told me I could have my ecu returned to stock which would uninstall osiris and get a $150 refund, for selling the program license back to them. But if u already have osiris installed I would keep it, just get it retuned to your specific setup.

Just recently got a retune at Jotech Motorsports Dallas TX. The car was previously tune at Uprev in Austin TX. The car at the time had the following mods...

-Stock intake with K&N filter
-Z-tube
-MD 5/16th spacer
-Berk HFC
-M2 3" HR y-pipe
-Nismo Catback exhuast

The car didnt really feel much different after the tune in Austin and only put 258whp and 236tq on a dynojet baseline. After the tune it put out 265whp and 237tq. Honestly I felt little difference but I was happy with the numbers.

Since then I changed my setup and took it in for a retune at Jotech bc the car would bog down a lot when at WOT. The setup now is..

-Stillen Intake cover
-JWT intake
-Z-tube
-MD 5/16th spacer
-MD ART pipes
-MD TDX V2 exhaust
-Transgo shiftkit

The car came in with 233.2whp and 194.4tq all on a DYNOCOM. I dont know the exact diff. between dynocom and dynojet but I read from a lot of forums that it reads lower than a Dynojet. How much difference? Im not sure. Well after the tune the car put out 267.4whp and 229.9tq. The car gained a lot of midrange power and the torque on the car is unbelievable now. I can take off from a roll in 2nd gear 40mph and just go WOT and the car would slip. It never did that before. Only in 1st gear it would slip from a roll.

Overall the tuner Thomas was a very good tuner! He tune everything possible and tossed the old tune from Uprev away (it was junk!) and loaded his own things. He tuned each gear to run great. He messed with my cam timing, changed the transmission pressure line so that I would get even faster and firmer shifts, changed my idle, changed my rev limiter cutoff so it wouldnt be boggy like the stock, and also my radiator fan temp turn on (set it at 190f oppose to the stock 220f) so that the car would stay a lot cooler. Man he did everything possible and the car felt like a total different car afterwards. I was speechless.

Also we did something like a quarter mile test on the dyno with my vehicle to see the diff in power. He used HIS stock map that he tune so I could drive on my daily vs HIS performance map. The car did 120mph in 8.624 seconds in STOCK mode and 8.201 in PERFORMANCE mode. Thats about half a second which is REALLY good. Too bad we didnt get to test how it was before with my old tune vs the new tune. Im sure I would have shed more seconds.

They typically overcharge which is why i ask but 350 should be typical for a retune...we have a guy in Lewisville out here in DFW

Yeah the are a bit pricey but I can see where all the money goes to. Its quality work they do honestly. Yeah I know the Lewisville guy, Steve Kahn correct? I was debating about going to him. Just didnt know much about his work.

Im trying to get a vid of my car up real quick so I can show.

Here is a quick vid of a 0-120 run. Almost sounds like a GTR from take off but without the turbos of course.

Its not a matter of % difference, it's all in the dyno setup at the shop. Two of the same brand at different locations will still read differently.
