Well of course I know that. Im talking in terms of which one reads lower and which one reads higher. For example, a mustang dyno obviously reads lower than a dynojet. Get it?

Ive read from different forums that the dynojet reads higher than a dynocom but then i read somewhere else that the dynocom reads higher than a dynojet..

Im just trying to find out which it which.

nice numbers!! In the vid your car went from 0-120 in 8 secs in mph or kph?

I wouldn't get caught up in the % difference between dynos as long as you can tell a difference which you can after your retune.

The only way you can compare is dyno on one and then dyno on a different type dyno same day because the conditions will almost be the same.

My car put down 307hp on a dynadynamics at hills garage which is calibrated to match the shop next door dynojet.

Last weekend a M3 was there and put down 306 people called BS because it wasn't on a DJ so he took it off and went next door and put down 309 on a DJ within a hr same day.

DJ is the standard because you cant change much on it to affect the numbers from what I've read.

Yeah it was like 8.201sec in mph. Of course its fast bc its on a roller and there isnt weight slowing down the car to get to that speed.

Anyone have a before and after with an Aluminum driveshaft? Debating getting it once Hill's gets theirs manufactured. It will be my final bolt on before my tune and I just want to make sure its worth it.

Before and after dynos at hills with the Z1 DS on page 24 of the carbon fiber thread in the drivetrain section.

Hey just haf a question because im gettimg exactpy the same mods as you minis the popcharger and noticed thay MD claims lile 13hp from the spacer ...almosy 20ftlbs of torque from art pipes and their v2 exhaust is supposed to be the best for the G for power gains ...and most stock g35's show around 240whp...im just surprised after all those mods the and a custom tune the dyno only read 250 at the wheels...do the automatics have that much drivetrain loss ?

MULTIPLE factors come into play here. What type of dyno is used, temperature, elevation, what type of gas, if the tune is extreme or safe for daily driving, and the list goes on and on.

You must remember, all tuners have different ways they do things, 2 identical cars with the same mods but tuned by two different people,or the same exact person but on two different dynos or in different climates, can produce completely different numbers.

Also a good hint, the "estimated,or stated' hp gains are almost NEVER dead on. A lot of time they are not WHEEL HORSE POWER,which people dont realize,or they are listed as the max but with complimenting other mods that arent talked about. However MD is one of the absolute most honest, best companies making parts for our car. Take a look at the dynos on their site, they have extensive topics to answer most of your questions. If you must, call them and ask for Tony, he is an absolute pleasure, and is very very well connected with the g35 community.

good luck! the mod bug bites hard
