Wow! I didn't know that.

An actual viable option then would be to just keep a second ECM/BCM on hand and swap them out for your emissions test.

This might be the best option.

An uprev cable is required to use their software. It has security coding in it that unlocks the software.

PM me I can set you up with whatever you need

I have an 03 G35. I see in one of the posts above that some 03 do not have tunable ECU. How can I verify that mine is tunable? I'm planning on installing HFCs, catback, and plenum spacer and want to datalog to verify AFRs are in range. Looking for the DIY tuner kit (assuming it will work with my ECU). I know that I will need a wideband 02 sensor since I have an 03. Which brands of wideband integrate well with uprev? I assume you just plug the wideband USB into the laptop and the uprev software integrates for logging. Thanks.

If you have a coupe they are all tuneable, but you have to relocate one of the pins in the OBD2 plug.
If you have a sedan you need to look at the physical ECU and see which one you have. See the attached picture.

Get an innovate wideband

sorry, i didnt know anything about wideband til you brought it up. I would email and ask uprev for accurate answers. I usually just monitor my live parameters using Torque smart phone App and OBDLink MX hardware. Good luck

This only affects the 2003 models; 2004 and newer have factory widebands that we can monitor and record with the Uprev software
