just an update: my issue took care of itself.

This mod is just such a godsend! there have been countless times that i've actually SCROLLED TO THE NEXT PAGE of POIs on the interstate!!! I've also been able to type in names and addresses of locations. simply fantastic.

 

I've had my G35 for 3 days so I'm hesitant to add this on but I must admit that the "Press OK" is annoying but the not being able to use different functions while driving is worse. So this is on my radar.

KP - I have a question on the mod that I don't remember seeing answered (I could be completely blind, though). But will it allow you to "Search" on your Music Box when enabled? I assume it will because it is part of the "navigation system" but I just want to check.

 

It will allow you to do almost everything you can do while standing still (the module disconnects the VSS signal that tells the unit the car is moving). So, while the VSS signal is cut off the navi unit thinks you are standing still so you have full functionality.

The only thing this module will NOT allow the driver to do is watch video while the vehicle is moving. KPtechnologies will NOT supply a product that allows video to be displayed due to the liabilities involved.

as Kevin stated, this will allow you to Search the music box, it will allow you to change any setting in your system, it will allow you to SCROLL poi's, or enter STARBUCKS to search for.

you can access anything within the Phone section. i don't recommend it, but you could pair a phone while on the move.

i still can't believe i lived without it!!

 

This module does NOT allow video to be displayed. We, for liability reasons, will NOT provide a module that will allow people to watch movies / videos while driving.

 

I really want to get this for my car, but I'm afraid to take the console apart and scratching my baby.. lol im such a wuss.. o wellz..
