Programming Navi while moving - KPtechnologies NI35 - Now Easier!

KPtechnologies recently had the opportunity to purchase the nav control module from an '07 G35. We plan to use this as a "swappable" part to make it a bit easier for people to install the NI35.

The NI35 allows you to access all "grayed out" menus while the vehicle is in motion. It also processes the "OK" screen each time the car is started. THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT ALLOW VIDEO TO BE DISPLAYED WHILE THE VEHICLE IS MOVING! The module is installed by connecting:

1. switched power
2. ground
3. Reverse input (for compatibility with reverse cam)
4. VSS interface (breaks VSS signal when triggered)
5. two wires to the circuit board of the Nav Control center

This new program eliminates the need for soldering on the circuit board. The KPtechnologies shipped part will have both necesarry wires soldered to it and ready for install.

Here is how it will work:

1. Contact KPtechnologies through Email to check availability of the part
2. Purchase an NI35 directly from KPtechnologies
3. When paying include an extra $100 deposit
4. Swap the part out and send your "like new" control module back to KPtechnologies (customer is responsible for postage)
5. Receive $80 refund on your deposit!

For more info about KPtechnolgies and our products please check out www.KPtechnologies.com

If anyone has any questions let me know!

Wait a minute...

You're not saying that my end cost is only $20???
What's the cost of the unit itself?

I don't think so. How I read it is, you pay for the NI35, which is $99. Then you include $100 additional for deposit, and then when they return the part to you, they send you back $80. At the end it costs $99 + $20 + the shipping and handling costs. That's how I read it. Correct me if I'm wrong...

Thats how it works - you pay for the NI35 and then it comes out to be $20 for the swap part. The swap part eliminates the need to solder on to the circuit board - you will still have a few wires to hook up on the back of the audio unit.

The '09s should work with no problem as nothing has changed.

Kevin, would you happen to have a link to installation instructions?
