By the way... I've had these bars on my car for 2 - 3 weeks now and they are by far the best mod I have done to this car so far (maybe the best single mod I've done to any car). The ride is so close to stock it is hard to even tell that you've changed anything, until you hit your first turn, then the difference is night and day... hardly any body roll anymore... the car just goes where you point it; without fuss. When my wife first drove the car with the new bars installled, she drove it over 100 miles to Hermosa Beach and back in LA traffic that day and never realized I did anything to the car... that is, until she got off the exit ramp near our house and hit the curves... she came into the house like, "what in the f did you do to the car", and I'm like, "oh no, here we go again, she hates the car now"... I'm like, "what do you mean", and she's like "you did something to the suspension, the car is so much more fun to drive through those turns down on Greenriver... what did you do to the car?". That when I told her... If it passes the wife test, then it is the perfect mod.

I'm so happy with these bars, that I don't even want the $20 rebate that Andy is offering... I think they are worth every penny I paid, and then some!!!

Thanks again Travis for making this happen for us Sedan guys!!

Adrian,
You're on the middle hole on the rear, right?

Hey San... I used the lightest setting, which is the outermost hole. Travis has his in the middle hole. but he has the prototype bars, so his middle hole is almost the same as the outer hole on ours. I don't think you really want the rear much stiffer than that, especially if your on the stock tires, otherwise you're gonna have a very tail happy car.

Hey Clement... You had it right the first time... the rear bar should be the same, since the rear of our cars are basically the same. The front bar may be different, since you have a sepparate transfercase / transaxle up front to drive your front wheels.

How are the Berk's? I still haven't reiceved mine yet.

What size tires do you have, Boss? Just curious, because I tried my rear bar in the middle and felt a little uneasy with the oversteer, so I moved it back to the outside hole... With the stock wheel and tire set-up on my car, the car seems to be perfectly balanced with the rear bar in the outside hole... JMO...

It seems that AM tires and springs are necessary to run the bar in the middle hole

I once wanted to upgrade my sways to the Stillens and basically they told me that the rear sways would work on the X, but front one will not. I would assume this would be the case for Hotchkis

hey Adrian,

Berks are awesome, the sound under partial throttle is amazing, especially when i'm leaving my parking garage, under Wot not so sure, something in the stock exhaust can't handle the extra flow I think so it might be rasp or something, just doesn't sound right. I hope yours comes in quick! power gains are great though.

on to the sways, I'll try to fit your front ones and send back, but I can't this month too much work and midterms, I really want to get rid of the body roll!!

? for those of you who already installed them: Are the torque specs in the directions? (I looked at the Stillen install instructions and d/l'd those just in case, as they have torque specs listed for the F&R bars).
