It's almost as if the car gets confused and forgets what gear it needs to get into.

Yeah, mine does that. When accelerating hard in "D", there's almost like a slip when it goes into 3rd. That slip changes to a jerk in "DS".

The blackbetty grounding kit helps to smooth out the jerkiness.

Ive been following the post closely. I took my 07 G in and asked for ECU update, and check the transmission temperature sensor, NO LUCK. They told me they hooked it up to the computer, and no problems were shown. They even test drove my car and could not replicate the problem. You know what is strange, they gave me a 2010 red G35 for a loaner, with only 63 miles on it. Runs 10x smoother in the way it shifts, and less vibrations. Main difference I can tell, sometimes when I am at a stop light, and my foot is on the brake, I can feel a little bit of shuddering. The 2010, smooth, no shudder around 40, and no herky jerk feeling when shifting from 2 to 3rd. But still no ECU update. I wrote the service manager an email, no response yet.

There is no such a thing as 2010 g35. That is a G37 and have 7 speed tranny not 5.

U right bro, G37. I loved the front grill on it and the fog lights. I wanted to keep it

I'd like to add that my car's doing very good.
Still no shudder & shifts like new!
Just the engine bog @ 35-40mph (light throttle), but that's a typical nissan thing.

I'll be hitting the highway over the weekend, that'll be another good test.

i'm bringing her in tonight to drop it off and have it reflashed tomorrow with the throttle sensitivity bulletin. I am very skeptical after reading a few people say it hasnt helped them, but they refuse to look any further into this until they apply this TSB. i'll let you all know.

Good luck. This TSB didn't change the shudder at all on my car.

I had my ECU updated in 2008, and the shrudder is still there (unless there is a new update I don't know about).

I felt the shudder for the first time today. I'm not sure if my car has had the flash yet as I bought it used. I'm going to call down in the next couple of days and check it out.

I just wanted to chime on since my 07 was updated on Friday. The throttle tip in is without a doubt MUCH better. The throttle/shifting is much more smooth and suitable for city/traffic driving now. The shutter on the other hand, wasn't noticed all weekend until this morning when I was on the on-ramp making my way in to work.

The Infiniti Corporate office is either blindly turning their heads to this issue, or they just don't care. I have filed two complaints with the corporate office, once a week or two ago, and once on Friday after dealing with an employee at the Nashua, NH dealership. I STRONGLY encourage all of who have made attempts to fix this issue with no results so far, like me to call and open an active claim with them. The telephone number for the Infiniti corporate office is 800-662-6200. We need to push to have a TSB issued as this is just becoming a bad business practice on their behalf. If 9 pages of threads have been rambling on for all of this time, there is a very real issue here that needs some attention.

**Also, the dealer tried telling me that the R2C's were the cause of this shuddering!! I told his manager he shouldn't let idiots like this represent his dealership anymore.

Funny that they feel the R2C's are causing the issue since my 2007 G35x is bone stock.

Keep guessing, Infiniti; you're just confirming your incompetence and sad customer service practices.
