I think the downshift thing is common if not standard after the relearn. Should reset in a day or two. As long as your SES light is off and your idle(after warm up) is between 650 and 750 you should be good to go
Yep, it looks normal. Remember our cars rev high until they get warm. Your temp guage and rev(after warming up) looks exactly like mine. I was a little worried about my intital warm up when I got mine as I thought it was way too high. After seeing and reading everyone elses posts I find that is normal.
800-900 rpms is not proper idle when warm. Mine idled high for a while as well. Had to do the relearn though i never unplugged anything. For some reason it still needed to be done.

The picture shows a healthy idle at normal operating temperature. I think someone mentioned 400-500 being normal. Well, it's not. Normal is between 600-700. Again, see picture for reference.
And yeah, if anyone stumbles upon this thread with a normal running engine... we urge you to go ahead and tear into it so that you too can end up with a high idle. We've got to keep this thread alive somehow, right?
