another way to get 100 bucks per car every year (wheel tax/emission(ob2 check only on 1997 and later)/tags)
TN checkin in! Where part of TN are you located? I can also atest to the OB2 testing, but in Memphis they still use the sniffer...at least they did back in 02.

You should go for it Terry. Have them program a 100 octane map for you.

Here's a list of Unocal 76 gas stations in So Cal that sell 100 octane gas:

Huntington Beach or Orange should be close to you, right?

Hey ... that's a nice list to have!

I don't think GTM will donate a free 100 octane MAP for me tho.

For 5 digits of $, they should! I also can't believe that they're not putting a boost controller on your car. I'm sure the HKS CAMP2 can do it with a $10 solenoid.

I don't really want to slag the brand because they have made great products in the past with good dyno results. I am just relaying my experience. The cats may have the same part numbers but the y-pipes I am sure are different. I probably could have made the y-pipe fit but it would have put way too much stress on the whole system.

I don't want to thread jack, but quickly... that doesn't make any sense.

The 'Y' pipe are all different, as is the rest of the cat-back.

But from the header to the first flange on the 'Y' pipe is the same for all.

Unless you replaced the cats and Y pipe? Anyways, sucks they didn't fit, but they should have if you have stock headers and stock Y pipe.

Congrats Terry!!! Do you know if the car is throwing any codes? From what I understand the ECU's in the sedans are tricky.

Update as of 9:00 AM:

Car is now at 9psi and making 459Hp to the wheels. Although GTM feels it is reliable as is, they will be changing the boost source for faster response and trimming it a little bit to hopefully around 420-430. No CELs, all input sensors are working and displaying through CAMP2 on nav screen, very stable operation. They believe they can get it up to 500 using current components, but we won't be going there (bank of Terry doesn't want to join indymac).

I'll be paying them a visit this weekend.
