I'm NOT happy with my new intakes !!

The stock air intake is already an enclosed system that takes in cold air. All you have to do is switch to a high flow filter. Or maybe grab a 350z intake tube.
Most aftermarket intakes offer a high flow filters, but its grabbing in hot air at the same time.
And the testings they do is laughable. LOL. They have the car running on a dyno with the hood wide open and a big fan blowing at it. Who here drives with their hood wide open?

You'll need a more accurate way to measure that bro.
Do you guys have a drag strip down in oman? A run down the 1/4 mile strip will be more accurate than your stop watch mate.

Yes you can.
I'm curious though, what were the relative humidities when you tested b/a intake?
Also, i'm with the other posters, try to find a timing tree or something more accurate than a stopwatch. 0.5s is easy to fumble, although it doesn't take into account your 3 second difference on longer runs.

well . . it's a stable dry weather here, bet there is no difference at all !

yes you can run without the resonator/silencers. it was the first thing i tinkered with on this car a couple of years ago.
Also, if those intakes are a short ram style, i believe you when you said they slowed the car down. I used to have fujita short rams on my car. i saw a couple of tenths and two mph lost in the 1/4 miles. i sold them and picked up injen true cold air intakes and saw all the power/accel come back plus some. put the stock intakes back in and you will get your acceleration numbers back.
