Im sorry you had to find that out the hard way. If you gain anything it will be at 5000-6000 rmp range which will only help at wide open throttle. It will do nothing for daily cruising. Most people buy them because they give a deeper sound than the stock system. You would have recieved better performance from a z-tube and drop in panel fiter (K&N, Apex, ext).

Indeed, I laughed out loud at least five times. Ma ride ain't got da powa it had befo! So I got this stopwatch out to check it. It ain't rite man.

All fun aside I understand the frustrations... I spent 500 bucks on Injen CAI's and noticed a slight drop in initial torque. After the ECU learned it though I'm burning rubber just like before. If I keep my driving less spirited I'm getting better mpg.

I have a R2C intake and the reason i bought it was for the sound.. I knew from reading a bunch of post that the intake doesn't give u any gains and at best no more than 4. Most people will tell u it's for looks and sound.

I dyno my car before and after the install and I only gain 11 or 10 rwhp, but most of that gain came from the 5/16 space that i added as well.

Intakes are poor unless you have CAI... STOCK > WARM AIR INTAKES

There is a plenum spacer for the HR motor. Who makes it? Motordyne?

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure he's got a rev-up motor (07 coupe)
