He makes great products but I'm highly hesistant in getting the nismo front from him if this communication is the issue.
I like to keep up to date on the money I spend on the products I buy.
Does anyone know where I can get a nismo front? What is a good vendor?

as the OP, im happy i can finally say this journey is over for me.
i finally have my INVEN+IMPUL+CS on my car!
drove up to San Gabriel this morning to Eric's paint/body shop he gets all his stuff done. its a collision repair shop but the place is literally like a g35 graveyard for stock parts. lol. there were also a bunch of INVEN, Nismo v2, and some other pieces drying and being worked on. pretty cool to see.
overall id have to rate my full kit a 8.5/10. def some areas that arent *perfect but in the end i am very happy with it! very impressed!
thanks eric!

UPDATE:
Hey guys... Just came back from the body shop and my car is 99% done. They are going to buff and polish it today/tomorrow.
I finally got to check out the NISMO installed and to be quite honest, I am a bit disappointed.
There are 2 things that are bothersome. First, there is a gap between the bottom of the grill and the bumper. It seems like I should be able to solve this using 3M tape. It should be noted that I have an Ionic grill. It should also be noted that fitment was perfect with my stock bumper.
The thing that bothers me more however, seems can't be fixed. The bumper doesn't extend all the way out to the edge of the fender (near the headlights). The edge of the bumper sits a little farther in than the fender. Unfortunately, I don't think anything can be done to solve this.
Another minor note, the sidemarkers don't sit as flush as with the OEM bumper. That was expected.
Overall, I think the bumper is good, but not great. The firment on the fenders is probably going to really bother me. Luckily my car is black so it isn't as noticeable.
I guess I am more bummed out on the fact that people swear by the bumper claiming fitment is perfect, when it isn't.
For those that want a NISMO, please go ahead and order one. Just know that it won't fit perfect. Maybe 80%-90%.
I honestly wouldn't mind spending an additional $100-$150 for a better fitment.
Oh well. End of my rant. I will post pics when I get my car back later this week.

ANYONE been able to contact him recently?
I made my order on APRIL 6th, and I still havent received my bumpers. I was supposed to get them painted and installed but he kept pushing the install date. Now I cant even get a hold of him via phone, text, email, AIM. I even emailed him saying I'm gonna have to do a chargeback if he does not response and still nothing.
But apparently he signs onto the forums so wtf?

It's really a shame to hear this is still happening.. I was in the same boat my friend.. I think at one point most of us were in your same position, teetering on whether to cancel, or continue waiting..
My rationale was, hell, I might as well keep waiting, I've already spent the money, and I've waited this long, might as well see it through.. LUCKILY, my fitment was great.. Some other people weren't so lucky AND they had a long wait.. I'd say you have a 50/50 chance of getting a great bumper and only having to wait for it, but you have a 0% chance if you cancel your order and then you'd have just waited for nothing and STILL not gotten the products you wanted.. I'd waited so long (3 months) that I wouldn't have even liked my car if I didn't get the pieces.. I'd have probably sold it if I didn't get the bumpers, so it was an easy decision to make for me..

I don't think it's complaining as much as not feeling like you're getting what you pay for.. Whether they be half price or not, you still expect them to fit.. Maybe w/ not the same "construction quality" as the original (where as I've seen some replicas that have better fitment THAN the original i.e. Ionic's Gialla replica), I don't think that's really a justifiable claim to foresake fitment because it's advertised as a "replica". We're still having to pay for it, even if it is half price.. It's like saying.. Hey you paid half price, don't be upset that it only fits half way.. That's not what was advertised.. If it wasn't a good fit, then no one would see his products as advantageous, and he wouldn't have the clientele that he does. What actually started this thread was something that was completely controllable, customer service.. As a vendor yourself I know you understand that you have to value your customers or you won't have any business after too long. That's what everyone (myself included) was referring to.. Fitment only became a recent issue. Of which, I was lucky to have minimal issues, not major like some of the local people here (Texas) have endured..

It wasnt the wait time that made me wanna cancel, but the fact that I have no way of contacting him. He has told me to come by "sometime next week" to get the parts installed, and when the day comes and I call to confirm he is unavailable.
twalls were you able to keep in touch with him during your 3 month wait? or were you unable to like me?

I too had spans where contact was limited.. There were episodes where I couldn't get a hold of him for weeks (I only called on or after my proposed delivery date). I understood that me calling him would be taking time away from him creating my bumpers, so I only called him when I was confirming shipment.. I didn't have a problem waiting either.. I know quality takes time, and I was ok w/ that.. But if a date was given for delivery, a customer expects either you to honor that, or at least give an update of what went wrong, and an updated timeframe..
I just kept calling, and I eventually got a hold of him.. Calling is the best avenue to getting him.. He has so many PMs and VMs he won't check them prolly.. You just have to get lucky and catch him on the phone.

I agree he's done great by the community, that's why he has the interest and reputation that he has for making great parts.. That goes w/out being said.. I was very happy w/ my order when it arrived..
I'm not knocking the dude at ALL.. As stated previously, I was able to contact him and when I got the kit, it WAS w/ all intents and purposes CLOSE to perfect..
In my opinion it was worth the wait, and I'll tell anyone that.. Even w/ the spans of no contact.. And I haven't heard of him standing ONE person up thus far..
If you plan on getting his product, just know there's a considerable wait to not only receive the order, but in some cases, even to place your order (recently, that is..)
Dude's crazy busy.

Hes had this business goin for a while and theres never been problems like this til recently. Its not so much the product, except for my case, but the customer service that bothers most people. He told me he personally fit my bumper to a g at his shop before sending it to me, and when I got it, it was the worst fitment I'd ever seen. But like I said, that is pretty rare, most people are displeased with the service. It seriously takes 5 seconds to respond to customers questions. He seems to have time to take peoples money and have bbqs, maybe he could take a few mins to get back to customers. No doubt hes busy, but this has gotten crazy
