To Eric's defense you were gonna get free replacement skirts. How off was the originals? Pics?

Unfortunatly you are in a crappy situation, but I do not think he is being totally unreasonable...

From what I made of it you bought the sideskirts at an already discounted rate from his holiday sale. They were fitted by another shop for 600. You did not leave you car with the shop so they just painted them, when they installed them they did not fit correct. Right there most companys would say sorry see you later I worked in a body shop for many years, even the most expensive kits do not always fit 100% and once the product is painted you own the piece.

Eric agreed to make you another set which he did not have to do, eating the cost of production to hopefully keep a good name with you.

The wait is negatible IMO as he was sending you free replacements, keep in mind shipping is not cheap either. So already he has lost on this sale. I agree that he or his partner did make a mistake sending out 2x passenger side skirts, and will be willing to send you another at no charge... This is his companies mistake so he should eat it.

I even see in the pms that he is willing to refund you the whole order of the skirts, for what you went thru. I do feel like you are asking a bit much the free side skirts, the speeding ticket (he did not cause you to speed), days off work, CS rear at cost, partial refund of work done at other shop.

This is a prime example of why you need to prefit a kit before paint no matter what. I am sorry that you are in this mess, but I think he is doing the best that he can for the limited resources that he has.... He offers a product at 1/3 of the price than most, that is why he is swamped everyone wants it.

Yea he agreed to get you the replacement parts and throw in some other parts, but if he cant get good sideskirts to you in a decent time, why would a free CS rear be any different? His shop has gone down the drain. I bought the inven from him from a supposedly "brand new" mold and he told me he test fitted the bumper on a G before shipping it out to ensure its fitment. Yeah, not so much. The fitment was absolutely horrible, I paid more to fix it than I did on the bumper. And go figure all of a sudden I cant get in contact with Eric. Dude should take some business management classes or somethin, his communication skills are real suspect

Sorry that you're going through this. I would be just as frustrated as you are that it's taking this long to resolve this issue.

Man you guys are making me feel lucky.. At least when I got my stuff (took 3 months), it fit..

I had airbubbles in the prepainted pieces (K2 front and Impul sides).. And a red basecoat was used (my car is TB), so whenever I get rock chips or anything, red will show up.. (Recycled kit? hmmmmmm).. He said that he always uses redbasecoat on all of his Poly or Fiber kits.. can someone else that got prepainted parts confirm this?

From this experience, I've learned to never get parts prepainted.. Because they're always going to need more prep work to get them right.. You might want to have a local shop paint that anyway on your CS rear..

I ordered an unpainted CS rear, and it had chips and dents in it, so be prepared to pay for prepping w/ that anyway before you get it painted.. It's not going to be perfect.. Just trying to help you get your mind ready to come off of some more ends.

EDIT: After searching for threads on him, wondering if I was pawned this bumper.. https://g35driver.com/forums/souther...installed.html

This was right around the time I got my TB K2.. Hmmmmm

I bought impul sides in december 08, had to wait a few months for installation for financial reasons. When I finally got them painted/installed I was made aware that fitment was off.
It sucks that you had to wait that long, but even if one "guarantees" fitment, aftermarket parts NEVER fit 100% perfect. I for one am someone who always deals with local sales. That way, I can examine the product's actual condition i'm about to purchase, and vice versa for the buyer for the product(s) i'm trying to sell. Hell, i've even driven 4 hours for a used CF hood.

Also, while you were waiting for the replacement parts, did you have the funds to get them done right away? If not, I don't see this as a major problem (for me personally, that is).

I just hate to see so many bashing threads on a reputable seller.

That's why he has almost ceased to take new orders.

alot of ppl will defend eric, due to past purchase's and many know him personally..but IMO this is complete BS you cant run a bussiness and run it like this and expect people to be understanding..its not like french ordered the sides from japan..which would have been faster...french is a good customer(past experience)and i think he should be more than compensated..impul sides for free and 150 for the cs rear painted...gl bro

I don't see how defending someone because 1) they offer a great product, 2) they have done a lot to support the G community, and 3) stand behind their product when problems arise is BS. Eric's got a long track record of happy customers and that should not be negated or ignored because he's been swamped with orders the past few months.
