damn OP sorry to hear this man but i completely agree with you man and this is not for eric specifically but ANYONE.. if they can't run a business whats the use in defending that person? you come into business to make money but in order to do so you have to provide a service or manufacturer items.. If you can't stand the heat then why all the sympathy? If there is a legitimate reason as to the problems then it's understandable but once you take someone's money and then don't respond with the followup that deserves no sympathy and no defense. Business is business, if you are a good guy, ok that's a plus but I'd rather have someone who is an ******* and knows it but at least he does his job right and on point as opposed to someone who is a "stand up" guy or a cool guy as by some people who know him but then slacks on business. Because you can be a nice guy but once you slack or can't fulfill your responsibilities, especially on a well known online forum, then word will get out and your business will go down, so whats the point? Why not be known as a someone who is on point with their business and who takes on the responsibilities despite how your character is.
When I have a big order like that, i appreciate it a lot when i get follow up details, it doesn't have to be daily or anything but something to still let me know that things are ok and are coming in.
I hope this issue get solved, the lessons learned and things change for the better

The MOST frustrating experience a customer can ever have is a business/transaction without proper communication.
If you run a business and you are at the point where you can't communicate properly with your customer (hopefully because of being overwhelmed by business), then you need to have some serious changes.
Customers don't care about excuses.

It's called Buyer protection !
You as the consumer tried to negotiate with the vendor for a resolution, they failed to provide a resolution/ deliver the goods.

^at first i thought it would be a good idea if the Vendor at fault made a formal statement but perhaps its due to the fact that they will be attacked.
THIS IS NOT THE SAME SITUATION..but..if youre aware of the MASTERGRADE fiasco, " https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...ferrerid=13080 " you know how Slammed MASTERGRADE gets after he defends himself.
eric needs to contact french privately and make this right. as far as eric's business, the MODs need to contact him and follow up on this issue. as much as i am grateful for my beautiful body kit (with imperfection), he needs to step up or MODs need to close/lock his F/S threads.

I hope he fixes it otherwise I'm afraid I'll never get my chance to own one.
Its the only bumper I'd change my stock one out for.
Come on Eric. Don't let us down

I had ordered a Nismo V1 from him last year and it came shipped with the sides folded in. The fit is not perfect but its still pretty good. I really only have issues with the corner near the wheels. Its a lil short. Since this was a V1, there were issues with the undertray. He made a V2 after that so he did address those issues. Recently my rear got smashed so I was in communication with Eric for a few months prior about getting a CS rear. He told me it would be a week to make it and that calling him would be good once I was ready to order. Shortly after the accident I sent a PM and gave him a call. About 30 calls, 10 PMs and countless posts in the thread later, I was still without any answer. If the dude was that backed up, then at least post something saying "im swamped but once I catch up, ill work on all your orders." Dude does not even set up his voicemail which was pretty smart on his part. Imaging how many messages daily he would get from customers he was ignoring.
I thank God there was a local member who had one of Klumzyees CS rear. Thanks Steve again for selling me the bumper. Test fit looked great and Garage Inc told me that its one of the best fitting replicas they have worked with. Some good came out of it but none of it was due to anything Eric has done.......

One i am suprised you all think that eric would see these threads. Common sense says that if he does not have enough time to private message everyone or pick up his phone he doesnt have time to search the forums. Secondly the OP is right the set should be eaten at cost to eric. The thing i dont agree with is you trying to get a free bumper out of it painted after he offered you at just shipping and you came out with why not painted. DUDE that was a free bumper and all you had to do was pay shipping!!!!!! Secondly is doesnt eric have in that order page to have the skirts prefit before painting and if theres an issue let him know BEFORE the paint goes on and the body shop tries to fix it. You made the mistake and he tried to correct it be glad he did that.
Im not defending eric at all in fact he hasnt answered my pms or calls, but damn the guy is working with one other guy and this isnt an all time job. Believe me hes probably overwhelmed with work. This site requires if you sell things to become a vendor....ie hes not a business and he will probably never be. Be glad he offers replacements as most will make you pay shipping and only if the bodykit is absolutely cracked or molded that off. If you dont like to deal with him then dont. Noone forced you.

If he takes peoples money in exchange for a good/service, then he is a business. Sure it's not his full time job, as I believe he's a student. But that doesn't make customer service any less important. It's flat out disrespectful, borderline unethical, to not communicate in a timely manner with the people that are giving you business and putting food on your table.
A LOT of businesses take a loss in exchange to make the customer happy, as that's part of their customer service mission. Man up, take responsibility for your mistakes, and make things right. If a business will go above and beyond to make up for problems, they will get my business again because they've proven their dedication to customers.
Whether the customer is always right or not, they are still the customer.

That's true. He should set up a seperate business line for customers since he's having an explosion of growth.
The worst part is when you have too much growth too fast. It can kill your business especially if you're a one man show like he is now.
He has to accept one fact... either get better organized and manage the workflow he has now or close shop....
There's no going around it. Hopefully he takes one day this week to address everyone's issues, work out solutions and f/up with the customer service aspect of his company.
It seems like its too late for me to get my K2 bumper though. Sad bc I really wanted one now I have to look for something else
