yeah help him out. i tried, even talk to the company he uses to ship it.

 

The funny part is that we're always bumping the BBQ thread (like Vlad's gym thread), but the thread is over a year old and he never actually BBQs anymore...

 

^at first i thought it would be a good idea if the Vendor at fault made a formal statement but perhaps its due to the fact that they will be attacked.

eric needs to contact french privately and make this right. as far as eric's business, the MODs need to contact him and follow up on this issue. as much as i am grateful for my beautiful body kit (with imperfection), he needs to step up or MODs need to close/lock his F/S threads.

This sucks. I was going to order a K2 bumper and possibly some Impul Sides this week. I'm definitely going to keep an eye out on this thread for the results

 

Very simple.. if he doesn't deliver, contact your bank or paypal, or whatever credit card you use and get the charge reversed .

One i am suprised you all think that eric would see these threads. Common sense says that if he does not have enough time to private message everyone or pick up his phone he doesnt have time to search the forums. Secondly the OP is right the set should be eaten at cost to eric. The thing i dont agree with is you trying to get a free bumper out of it painted after he offered you at just shipping and you came out with why not painted. DUDE that was a free bumper and all you had to do was pay shipping!!!!!! Secondly is doesnt eric have in that order page to have the skirts prefit before painting and if theres an issue let him know BEFORE the paint goes on and the body shop tries to fix it. You made the mistake and he tried to correct it be glad he did that.

Im not defending eric at all in fact he hasnt answered my pms or calls, but damn the guy is working with one other guy and this isnt an all time job. Believe me hes probably overwhelmed with work. This site requires if you sell things to become a vendor....ie hes not a business and he will probably never be. Be glad he offers replacements as most will make you pay shipping and only if the bodykit is absolutely cracked or molded that off. If you dont like to deal with him then dont. Noone forced you.

 

He got the sides and had it painted very simple thats the end of the business deal. What else would you like to happen you cant reverse that.

 

My experience with Eric was very frustrating. It took a long time to get in contact with him and it took a while for him to send my order out. Luckily, fitment was pretty good with my Nismo front.

I would be hesitant to order a full kit from him though as it seems that with exception to the Nismo front, the rest of his parts are a hit or miss. And lately, they all seem to be a miss.

 

I believe in the other thread, he was spotted a few times in the "Currently Viewing" bar, which this site no longer has.

 

WOW....all i heard was good things about this guy for years!....now this thread and everyone is bashing him now...someone should have made a thread like this years ago!....GOOD JOB OP!

His BUSINESS is called SurfaceModz. who cares if its a one man show. if you are offering products or services and receive payment, i would expect quality&timely products/services. If you cant handle it, make a statement that there is a freeze in production or something and close your advertising threads.

OP - sorry for the troubles ur facing....

as a business owner, i understand both ends. when a buyer pays/and is promised a product in a sufficient time = good business practices..

i dont know ERIC personally or have ordered from him, almost did for the nismo bumper...

at this point, he's MIA like seriously MIA...taking peoples money and not delivering on his end is definitely frustrating.

it sucks that a Gmember and vendor has to be put on blast like this, but whatever he did in the past, doesnt constitute his actions of now as a business owner/vendor

someone should just go to his work, get everyone that needs somethign from him, get it all straighten out and get things shipped/ordered/etc

if i was in socal, i wouldnt mind rolling thru for you guys, cus its just not FRENCH87, there's alot of u guys...

maybe eric just needs a kick in the pants to get moving....that is alot of cash to be in the invoices....and not fulfill his promises....
