some people haven't had an issue and some people have had major issues to the point the car was undriveable with VDC on. I wouldn't chance it

 

No problem, but it's always nice to have all 4 matching tires on the car.

 

If the tires were both very similar in category. ie.. high performance summer tires. But it's not a good idea to run diff brands due to the potential grip differences inbetween them. Yes, vdc issues.

 

i got a quick question about tires and sizes.

i got an 06 rev up sport suspension, the springs are stock

its a GTM twin turbo motor with spacer, exhaust, etc no motor work

running 425 hp max right now

i got the oem 19s rays right now, what is the best tires size to use the will help my performance with traction and having the largest contact patch for oem 19s and boost. i plan on going sleeper so the oem 19s are perfect and didnt wanna change the rims. i wanna run the widest and best performance size for this setup..... also with 30-35mm rear spacers and 20-25mm up front

any help woould be great as i need new tires asap that will keep me stuck to the pavement like a dead bird hahaha jp

 

anyone?? i need some help on choosing the right or best combo. will be ordering the new goodies asap!!

largest tire size has been posted many times...

it doesnt matter how much hp you have the oem wheel will always be 8.5 width, so work off of that.

 

oh, personally im not gonna be using the oem wheel. im thinking 19.5 in the rear

 

most common size is 275 as you know, but Ive also read and heard that anything beyond 275 isnt going to make much difference on traction.

sorry if this is redundant but I have been reading thread after thread on here and just when I think I have a handle on what is a "good" tire someone contradicts it. i have an 06 with factory 19s and I am having tire wear issues with the fronts, the car is alligned regularly i bought the car used and dont know if it is lowered but I am in need of new fronts i was gonna get T1Rs again n have the problem looked at but I want a more stretched looking tire for the tires. i put 255/45/19 on the rear n they are fine but actually wasnt thrilled with how they look (the added with just makes them taller) will the 245/35 on the front look more stretched? and i live in the city has anyone had issues with damaging rims on 35s? sorry for the long post and rambling just frustrated and confused and I need tires bc my car has been sitting for 2 weeks : (
