Hi Neal,
I'm looking to get some tires for
18"x9.5" +27
18"x10.5" +30
rims in the near future, I was hoping to not spend much more than $500 for the set if at all possible.

What would you recommend ? I'm hoping to maintain decent treadlife, good turn in, have adequate dry weather grip, and not skid off the road when it rains. The Hankook V12 seemed like it would hit most of these marks, save for the turn in issue.

As far as visuals for for the tires, I don't care too much for a stretched appearance, and would like to maintain factory diameters.

Thanks for any recommendations you can provide!

The V12's would be a great tire, however, can't get in under $600 for a set of those (assuming we're going 245/40 and 275/40). Might want to look at the Sumitomo HTR Z-III to get a bit closer to your pricing.

Sumi's can as they are asymmetrical, V12's have to be taken off wheels and remounted for the other side.

Hey Neal,
I'm thinking about replacing my factory wheels on an 05 G35 Coupe with the 19" Rays, but I'd like to keep the existing tires, what should I look for on Tire Rack (or anywhere else) as far as size and offset goes?

The front tires will fit wheels 7.5" - 9" wide and the rears 8.0" - 9.5" wide. Any of the wheels we have in those ranges will fit without issues or modifications.

abs problem

hello i was wondering if you can help me with an abs problem i am having. i just bought new tires for my car i already had 225/40 for the front and just bought 245/45 for the rear now everytime i drive i hear a clicking sound coming from the front of the car when i let off the gas and come to a stop when i feel abs kicking in. then after 2 minutes of driving about 40mph the abs traction and slip light come on and my brakes work fine. this happens everytime i start my car and just started when i put the 245/45's on the rear. i heard maybe i need to reset my abs do u know how i got about that?

Hi Neal,

Do you have any recommendations for 215/55/R17 all season perf tires for 05 G sedan? Something avg priced with good performance, perhaps Yoko Avid Envigor? How much would it cost to for a set shipped to 95117 in San Jose?

Thanks.

Front tires are close to an inch shorter than they should be. More than likely kicking in the VDC since diameters front/rear aren't correct. Use a 225/45-18 and the problem should be resolved.

The Envigor would be a great tire to use and you might check out Conti's DWS. The Envigor a bit better ride and life, the Conti better all season traction. $586.76 for Envigors, $578.76 Conti. Call me when ready!

Neal,

I was cruising the website and I don't see the Yokohama S Drives offered in a 225/40/19. Do you offer that size?
