So with being lowered 1.5 inches should I run a 20mm spacer up front and no spacer in the back? my wheels are +41 in front and +37 in back and they are 19's

alright i was looking into this a little more and thanks for all the advice but the smallest size adapter i could find for my wheels is a 1 inch (25.4)mm and its 5x114.3 into 5x112. the rims are F- 20x9 +35 w/ 245 35 20 R- 20x10 +44 w/ 285 35 20. will my back tire fit with a 25mm adapter> obviously the ideal would be to test first then purchase but i dont have that option anyone running this set up? Also i'm dropped on TEIN S techs

I have an 04 coupe and just got a set of wheels with 19x9 +47 front, 19x10 +30 rear offsets. No mods yet but eventually getting coils and either 20mm or 25mm spacers. What would be good tire sizes with which spacer to get a flush look?

Can't tell you if I don't know the widths

Terrible offsets, even with running spacers you'll be pretty far off the flush look. The rears are doable with a 30mm spacer but the fronts will need like a 40mm spacer.

Sorry about that they are 19 x9 +41f and 19 x 10 + 37r. Also can I run 235/35/19 F and 275/30/19 R and still be at a close enough rolling diameter to run on my X?

How about all you idiots wanting to run spacers all the time actually buy wheels that fit? Do you realise that 1). spacers are illegal, and 2). they are dangerous as hell, as the wheel doesn't sit perfectly flush with the rotor face as it was designed, as well as introducing either an extra set of nuts to come loose (in the case of bolt-ons), or significantly higher radial load than any stud was designed to take.

I'm running Tenzo Type M's 19x8.5 F and 19x10 R, with 245/35/19 +17 and 275/35/19 +22 Offsets. I currently dropped my car on some Z-HTechs and have no rubbing issues.

I'm wondering if anyone knows if I do the .5in springmount mod in the rear will I rub? and need my fenders rolled? Thanks...

Whoa wait you're in a sedan? Yea you'll be fine with that. I'd recommend a 245 over the 235 though. And no spacers

Do you realize that 1) no they aren't and whoever told you/made that up is almost as dumb as you for believing it. and 2) Nuts don't come loose when torqued down properly, and if you've ever even seen how a spacer mounts you'd know they are hub and wheel centric.

So unless you have questions, shut the **** up and go make a thread.

(if you want to argue with me some more about bull**** go read my thread about spacers and why I hate them)

Personally I'd roll the fenders, but it really wouldn't be neccessary, you'd probably only rub in hard corners. However, if you roll the rears you could throw a 10mm spacer on there and be much flusher and still rub free.

Painting DG 18" Wheels

I am interested in painting my original 18" wheels and have someone in town who I feel I would do a great job at it. My questions to all of you are: What color would best fit my Diamond Graphite coupe? Should I just paint them the original color? How about gunmetal? Also, have any of you have tried this (painting them gunmetal) and if so, do you have a DIY procedure or the color codes you used to do this? Thank you in advance to all who read my post.

Fabian

What do you like better about the 245's? The reason I ask is because I can get a really really good deal on Nitto Nt 05's if I go with the 235's up front.

Who the **** did you buy those off? Those are retarded tire sizes.

1. Wheels will look ghetto unless you lower the car.
2. Roll the fenders, it's not a big deal and it's better than tucking the wheels or cutting a tire.
3. 255/35 up front and 295/30 out back would be aight.

The 245 is closer to the rear diameter and these cars have enough oversteer as is. the 235 would be fine, but if you're buying NT05s, sounds like you drive the car pretty hard so I'd go with the larger front.

Just before you buy those though... They can not be driven in the rain, I've had Nt05s before and you'll hydro going like 30mph. Terrible wet grip.
