Would a 20x9.5 +24 & 20x10.5 +23 be a good fitment for a coupe w/ bbk?

Quote: 4D05G35, Thanks a ton! Right now I'm choosing between:
19x9.5 +40
OR
20x10 +45

From what you are saying I can make either work with:
19x9.5 +40: small spacer in the front (~5mm)
20x10 +45: Bigger (~15mm) spacer in the front and some narrower tires (245).

The 20x10's might hang out of the fender a little in the front?
And both rears will fit.
You can make either work. I would opt for the narrower front wheel of the two. A 245 tire on a 10" rim will be stretched so you are going to want to be lowered a bit otherwise it wont look right.
The rears will fit no problem.

yeah i would get some 19/8.5 at the most anyways, if tires weren't so damn expensive!

If the alignment on your car is good now then yeah just swap them and you're good to go. Wheels wont affect your alignment, but suspension work will.

M45 Wheels
For those with M45 wheels or knowledge on the subject.

Im looking to get some M45 wheels but wanted to know if there were any issues with the TPMS? do i need to do anything so this sensor does not come on?

i am aware of the spacers that are recommended for this set up already but would just rather not have the TPMS on all the time, any info would be appreciated.

Will 20x9 +10mm clear on the front of a stock height 05 Coupe with 255/35/20's?

Or would 20x9 +35mm be the better option?

Possible issues...?

No plan to lower the car, still have 2.5 years of extended bumper to bumper warranty.

Thank You,
Jason

Yes the 20x9 + 10 will clear. That is what I am running, but I am running a 245/35/20. At stock height the wheels and tires will be flush with the fender.
Lowering your car wont affect your extended warranty.

Anyone????

Also i know this is gonna really depend on where i take it but worth a shot;

How much is too much for a tire shop to take the tires on my current setup and place them on my new setup along with swapping out the TPMS sensors?

Im going from stock 19" Rays to 19" M45 Rims

Seems like a fairly quick job but also seems like a tire shop could easily try and stiff me on the price.

You can just swap over your TPMS and you'll be fine. I would imagine it would cost you about $100 for dismount, mount and balance.

So it would not require the front fenders to be rolled then?

Can I run +10 front & rear with the 255/35's so that they can be rotated without having to worry about any issues? Maybe add thin 5-10mm spacers to the rear with longer studs?

Just trying to maximize tread wear.

Actually, the warranty that I have will be altered if I change any stock component, other than wheels/tires (it's in print in the paperwork and I called to verify as I was going to just get some Z springs for a 1" drop) . It's a bumper to bumper and not through Infiniti but has been excellent. I am very happy that I purchased it since it has already paid for itself within 6 months.

Thank You!

running matching tire sizes is also known as a "square" setup. A lot of 350z owners do the same thing for tracking purposes.

You can do the same for tire life

You might have to pinch the front fenders when you go to lower the car. I was going to add a 5mm spacer to my front, but I just lowered my car another 1/4" and I rub on the fender liner when I hit big dips in the road. I want to keep the rubbing to just the tire/fender liner and not the tire/fender.
