No spacers. Run 255/35 for no stretch.Originally Posted by supreme92
Hello, I have a question. Im looking into the Varrstoen te37 reps. I was thinking about getting the 9.5 +22 all around. I drive a sedan, I want to be pretty flush all around, with a very minimal to no tire stretch. My current setup is 8.5 +35 all around, with a 20mm spacer in the rear, and a 15mm spacer in the front. My tire sizes are 225/35/19 all around. What tire size/spacer setup should I go with on the varrstoen wheels that I want to run, Thank you in advanced.-Garrett
The rears will sit roughly 6mm further out than your current wheels.
The fronts will sit roughly 10mm further out than your current wheels.
So just make sure you have room to fit the tires you want given the height and everything.

Hello, new guy here.. i have the chance to pick up a set of stance sc-5's nice and cheap
20x9 +20 front and 20x10.5 +27 rear, i have an 07 coupe that will be going onto bc coilovers this winter. I am not looking into much of a drop maybe 1.5 inches all around, i am not looking to go stretched/aggressive nor have my fenders been rolled/pulled.. the questions... what tire size to go for without rubbing? will a fender roll be needed? thanks

with those specs you won't have to roll your fenders but they are somewhat weak so i would add spacers at...maybe a 10mm in the front and a 15mm in the rear....with those specs run a 245/30 or 35 tire up front and a 275/35 in the rear

i would prefer to do wheels without spacers, what offset would be recomended for kinda flush with a mild drop?

9.5/10.5 wide wheels with high teen offsets is usually good for a mild flush look....since yours are only 9.0 wide in the fronts you would have to compensate more w/ spacers because of that

okay, thanks, perhaps these are not the wheels for me then, sc-5's dont seem to be very common, i can get a hell of a deal but i'm not completely sold yet.

@4DGS thank you sir for getting back to me, I really appreciate it. I want it to have about the same look that my 225/35's look on the 8.5

SC5s and Vossen CV3s are easily one of the most common wheels on the market right now...

In the forums they are... I don't see them in person much. I agree I would like to see less of them on 2nd gen g35's and 37's

They're huge in Canada, I went to one meet this summer that actually had 5 cars within 30ft of each other that had SC5s or one of the other variations of them lol If you like em go for it but I'd look linto other options. Personally....

Between these three tire in 275/35-19. Which would you all recommend/prefer?
275/35-19 GENERAL G-MAX AS-03
275/35-19 KUMHO ECSTA SPT KU31
275/35-19 FALKEN FK-452
Looking for a quite, comfortable tire that lasts.Quality over price IMO. I was gooing to go smaller(stretch) but, Im still tossing some ideas around. Thanks!

You're asking for the attributes of high end tires and you have entry level tires as your options.Originally Posted by Fantastic G

Kumhos would probably be your best bet, but for quiet, comfortable tires that last. You'll need to spend some more money.

Yeah I agree about these being entry level tires. I've seen the HIGH end selection and it looks like I'll compromise on one or more attributes I listed. A quite tire is what I prefer. On a seperate note, shopping for tires, spacers and wheels has somewhat discouraged me from Vossen and Stance. Too many mixed reviews and weak offsets. I LIKE them but, DAMN this is annoying looking for wheels and tires

Well I'm not going to talk you into vossen as I hate them....
Go kumho they're comfy, relatively quiet and last decently.
The generals, some people bitch about noise. But they wear well...
Falkens, wear poorly after the first 5k, get noisy after the first 5k and are just generally poor tires IMO.

Well that's good to hear about the Kumho tires seeing as they're the cheaper ones. I appreciate your help thus far as well as Andrews'. You guys know your stuff. Andrew HEAVILY suggested getting wheels without spacers and well...he's right. I might fall back to Varrs like I originally planned when I got my G. I don't know. Im the kind of person that wont jump the gun until I know as much as possible about WHATEVER it is im doing.
