They're fun! lol

With you "cali" rain, you'll be fine. Come drive in some of our down pours in my car... No wipers, -6 or 7 degrees and NS2s! It's exhilarating lol

No, you need an 18" step lip. If you want to put your 19" faces into a step lip you'll need a 20" step lip. Keep in mind, steps are exactly what the name is, they STEP up a size.

225/35 and 265/35 are matched stretches. But 225/35 and 255/35 will work fine.

And I asked that because if he calls himself a "wheel builder" he should have laid out all of the spec options for the customer (YOU) before he even took the wheels a part. He built blind wheels which is just dumb as hell and he still doesn't even know the offsets? Hell if you're building them and can't do math, at least measure them afterwards.

BTW, since you don't know offsets, you can't even pick tires. You may not need any stretch at all. Get your offsets before you start buying tires or figuring out sizes. Because in all honesty, spending the money for some guy to build you some 3 piece wheels with mystery offset just to have to run spacers to make them fit properly is a waste of time and money.

Thank you sir. That was what I meant, I just did not know how to word it properly. They would end up being 20" wheels because of the 19" face and step up barrels.

Total price for two of these reps are $177.00 shipped, new. So for less than $200 I can have a set of staggered OEM looking wheels utilizing the OEM fronts. The finish is not exact but it's not extremely far off (it's closer than the photo indicates because of crappy lighting on the pasted wheel). And I may go with a gloss black PC in the future. Is this too cheese and that's why I can't find anyone else with this setup?
I decided to do it. And this is how it turned out, I am pleased. Finish is even closer than anticipated, near exact. Maybe there is someone else out there that is thinking about this and can use this as a reference.

ok need second opinion

senario:
currently on Eibach pro springs, work gnosis 20x9.5 +14 (255/30) 20x10.5 +13 (285/30), hankook tires with my rear fenders rolled flat and alignment specs are -1 all around

a new set of Stance GR+ true type coils will be here soon and i will add 15mm spacers to make my offsets -1F and -2R

i am shooting for something like Xin's current set up: 20x9.5 -2 (225/35) 20x10.5 -2 (245/35) with alignment of -2.5 all around

question:
should i stay with his tire size even though it wont be as much stretch as his on my wheels or bump up to 235/35 and 255/35 and work with it that way..... im new to this 'stance' stuff and not sure if ill like it hence why i consider the slightly bigger tires and if i do that whats the equivlant in the Nankings since they run small? (Hankook doenst make a 235/35/20)

You're going to need a little more stretch to clear those. You can try with the 255/285 combo but you'll end up needing more camber to clear them.

With 235/35 and 255/35 you will be fine though. I'm running very similar specs on my Z.
