Have a Question/s About Wheels/Tires/Offsets/Camber/Etc? Ask here::
They're pretty specific, I think all other LH wheels and Wald will fit.
I have a 05x sedan and just picked up some 18x8.5 wheels with some 235/45/18 tires. Being that they're +50 I know I'll have to pick up at least 5mm spacers for the fronts to clear. My question is what spacers will get me pretty close to flush? I do plan on lowering, but only to maybe 1-2 finger gap between tire and fender. Would I be okay with 15mm spacers all around? I'm not looking to have them stick out past the fenders. Also my fenders aren't rolled/pulled if it matters.
20 if you do.
I have an 05 G35 coupe 6mt with the stock 19's. I'm looking to get VMR V710's and was looking at 19x8.5 ET 35 in the front and 19x9.5 ET 22 in the rear. Would this settup fit with coilovers, without the use of wheel spacers and without having to roll my fenders? Also I'm not sure about tire specs to fit these wheels. I was thinking 255 in the rear and 235 or 245 in the front. Would this work??? Also would these clear the brakes.
245/40 and 265/35
You will need to roll fenders 100%
I believe all V36 and Z34 wheels use the shank style lug nut.
Wide Tires!!!
In need for some new tires and I was wondering what a good setup would be to get some fat ones for the back. Right now I only need two front tires so I was thinking about moving my 245s to front and getting new tires for back... Any ideas?
Running 245s up front is a good idea for better stability. I wouldn't run anything larger than the 245s on your OE 8" rims. Anything larger wouldn't give you an advantage just more expense....Gary
asking for a friend....2005 Coupe with rolled rear fenders and very slight pull on front fenders
specs: 20x10.5 +30 all around
he has a 32mm spacer to run in the rear
if running -2 to -3 deg camber is any spacer needed in the front to match rear and will 245/35 on all 4 create any issues if so what tire size recommended
thanks guys!!!

Anyone know if too wide tires could decrease performance?
I feel like 285's could be too big for the amount of power I put out and would just need more power to move those tires which = slower.

wrong.... my old setup was 20x10.5 +13 in rear ran 285/30s and was fine.... tire is not the heavy part its the wheel
i say go for the 285s more contact pach is a good thing unles you want to stance the car then less is needed to tuck tire for that kind of fitment

Ok laughter aside.. You wouldn't suggest running some fat tires in the back? I really like the way it looks but I don't want anything to get out of wack.
