Anybody do stretched 40 serieson a 19" wheel? 225/40/19 245/40/19 on 10"/11" wide setup?

will I have to roll fenders on 2004 g35x sedan dropped 1.6" on megan coilovers running 19's 8.5 +35 all around?????

Would 9.5 10.5 +15 all around be too weak (offset) for a coupe? Anyone with pics of this setup?

^ use this. put your current wheel specs on the top. new wheel specs on bottom. submit
look at poke to see how much further (in MM) the new one pokes from the old.
go to your car and measure your fender/wheel clearance to see how much more the wheel can poke out to be flush or hellaflush or wherever you want it to sit.
as a reference 12.5mm = half inch , 25mm = 1 inch , 50mm = 2 inches, and so on

You're going to want 225/40 up front and 255/35 out back to match the stretch, But yea stretching 40 profile tires is actually easier than 35s.Originally Posted by TGMcCoy

Probably not, but I'd recommend it if you carry passengers in the back seat.Originally Posted by Carrottop401

No offense but why would you put $400 worth of springs onto $500 coilovers with the wrong valving for the spring rates. You'd be better off just selling the Basics and buying brand new BC/Megan with custom swifts.Originally Posted by P10 WRC
does anyone know if the swift springs will fit Tein Basic Coils?

Nope, might need to remove the hardware from the fender liner though.Originally Posted by jamestown

BTW, 285 is oversized for a 9.5" wheel. You 255 or 265 is recommended however 275 IMO is the limit. Going to a 285 is going to loosen the sidewall rigidity since it bulges over the edge of the wheel.

ordering my lips from VR. seems anything bigger than 6.0" is custom order. Spoke directly with Triangle lips and directed me over to VR. 2-3 month wait though...
sigh... might as well.

I didn't- I saw them in the stock list last time we talked. They are wholesale prices- with markup of 50% if you don't buy 10 pieces though. That's why I ask how much at VR
