Not saying all meisters new directly from Work are welded, you could probably request Work to skip the weld and simply put silicone. But they do weld some 3 piece wheels.

IMO, there's new wheels, and there are rebuilt wheels. Rebuilt.
Most of the split wheels you see people building have likely already been rebuilt. Therefore any previous weld would have already been split. Or perhaps there never was one to begin with.
Not really an issue since if tires aren't mounted, it wouldn't be hard to see if a 3 piece wheel is welded together or not.

Per Works website they are modular, ie not welded. The pic you posted even shows them applying silicon.
No mention of weld

Edit
Just called work usa customer service. Older ones are not welded, new ones are. She didn't know an exact date when they started welding, guessed about 2 years.

This is clearly a Work factory.

This is clearly a 3 piece wheel (Split barrel + face)

This is clearly not a silicone application machine.

This process is not specific to just Work. Other companies do this as well. (Weld their 3 piece wheels)
SSR being one of them.

Most people who rebuild wheels to their desired specs almost never buy the wheels direct from Work anyway. So most of the time, the weld has been taken care of. Or like WhosUrBuddiee just found out, older wheels weren't welded, and most of the Meisters going around now are likely older ones.
been thinking of lowering my g but im new to this so im not really sure what would be a good wheel size if I was considering a 1" to 1.5" drop. Right now im considering 19's but im not really sure how that size will work out, any advice would be helpful.
I'm thinking about going for a different set up and the wheels I want will only come in 19x9.5(Fronts) and 19x11(Rears). Below is my current set up, so my question is, what offset and tires should I get to mirror what I have now. I love the way they sit now and would like the same look for the next set up.
Current Setup:
Fronts: 20x9 +20 (245/35/20)
Rears: 20x10.5 +25 (275/30/20)
