Ok I read so much but everyone has a different input and different setup
I bought new rims staggered
I have a 04 sedan on 08 350z suspension I believe I got more than 1" drop
The rears has a -2.1 camber won't go back into specs
Ok so the rims are
Fronts 19*8.5 +35
Rears 19*9.5 +35
Tire size it's confusing my head hurts from reading for to days
So the shop want to put 235/35/19 in front and 265/35/19 in the rear but when I use the tire calculator tingy the front are 3.2% slower and the rears are .2 faster
Now could anyone give me some advice
Oh my rear fenders are rolled I just want a flush look

Are you gonna be getting a camber kit? -2.1 is really bad, and your setup is gonna look/feel way different if you correct that. May wanna take car of that first if so.

Yea I'm getting a camber kit for it
And is my tire setup ok even if the front tire is 3.2% slower and rear is. .2% faster than stock if it's not ok what would be a better tire setup

Hey guys, this question has been been probably asked 1000 times, i searched the forums and photos and i came to the conclusion that for my car witch is a 2003 g35 sedan stock suspension and no fender roll i should be fine with this setup

TSW MIRABEAU 19x8.0 5/114.3 ET35 up front with 255/35/19 tires
TSW MIRABEAU 19x9.5 5/114.3 ET40 in the rear with 275/35/19 tires

i ordered them from a company and they told me yup all is good and it will fit but i got an email today saying that TSW says that those rims with those specs WILL NOT fit on my car and will rub all day.

can anyone confirm this for me? or help me out with a proper setup that will work, other options for me on these rims are

TSW MIRABEAU 19x8.0 5/114.3 ET35
TSW MIRABEAU 19x8.5 5/114.3 ET20
TSW MIRABEAU 19x9.0 5/114.3 ET30
TSW MIRABEAU 19x9.5 5/114.3 ET40

They probably said 235/35 265/30 which is what would make the most sense.

A Question of Tire Sizes

Getting ready for new new tires on my "04 G35 Coupe. It has the Performance Tire/Wheel package. I bought new and it had Michelin Pilot Sport 245/45 18s on the back, and 225/45 18s on the front. I've stuck with that since.

Now I'm looking at Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires. I now live in the Northwest with a lot of rain. Plus, I'd like some longer tread life than the Pilot Sports. The A/S 3s have 45K mile tread warranties (double the PS). But only if you run the same size tires front and rear. If you run larger in back, the tread life warranty for those is cut in half.

I'm thinking of running the 225/45s all around. Not sure if this is the best way to go. I'm a pretty laid back driver but enjoy the car's performance when needed. Any help with the pros/cons would be appreciated!

Thnx.

So a 20x11 +30 is only 1.5mm more outwards than a ×10.5 +25? Let's add .5"/2=6.5mm minus the 5 we lose in offset, 1.5mm more right? On the backside i get 5 from offset plus 6.5mm (+.25") =11mm more on the inside. Can a 20x11 +30 fit on the rear of a coupe?

I think my calculations are off... this is what I posted on my350z.

I think when i added two inches to the inside, I only need to calculate moving the center over ONE inch not two????!?!??!?!

So I believe after more thought that the wheel specs on the rear are:

Stock is +30, adding 2 inches or 25.4 x 2 = 58.4mm to the inside. That moves the Center over 25.4 inches making the higher offset of 50.5 from the center to outter edge...then leaves 60.8 to the inside..I added a 20mm spacer to increase the rim hub thickness to (stock 30 + 20mm) is 50mm from the mounting surface of the rim to the outer edge. The remaining portion (mounting surgace to inside is 60.8?? I guess LMFAO. Took two years now Im ready to sell these and work up a set of GTR 20s, any trades or buyers. lol?

confused...but it works..lol

No input guys/glas?

Yes but not running coil overs. the coil over at times will take 10-15mm from the inside. I am running a 19x12 but no coil over so there is space to run an 11 with a small spacer if you run the coil....how much? thats TBD!!

If there was just the strut look how much more room you can play with. Im being generous by saying 1.5 inches but im close. I use the 10-15mm for good meausure the rear in shakes around a but especially if your boosting of driving hard, who knows the actual travel distance of the suspension under load and stress.

Thanks. So no true style coilovers in the rear. Are my first two statements correct?

i just bought a 2004 g35 coupe, stock wheels and tires. i want to get new rims and keep the old tires and put themthe new rims.

how does stretching work? i want to get larger rims maybe an inch larger with more offset and maybe width (to make the body more flush with wheels)

any suggestions?

stretching is completely useless if you're staying the stock height. it also looks wack. def would not recommend it. stay with a flush/meaty tire set up if you're not lowering at least 1.5" or more.

I don't know if I'm gonna lower it, I live in canada and it'll be winter driven, I'm not sure how a lowered car would do in lots of snow.

What's your thoughts?
