hey guys i have a question.
I have sf challenges in 19x9.5 +28 and 19x10.5 +23 and i wanted to change faces with a dude that has 19x8.5 +40 and 19x9.5 +30.
If i were to trade faces, would this affect my offset or does only the mounting point on the barrel affect the offset?
thanks!

SF Challenge are a 2pc wheel. Your barrel is a fixed offset. Your offset wont change because you are mounting the face to the old location. Im assuming youre changing SF for SF's for a color swap?

Looking to pickup 18x10 wheels for sedan.. I dont think 18x10 will fit front of a sedan without some fender work I am also lowered on 350z s-tech

My question is will 18x10 fit rear on 245/45/18 tires I have rear fenders rolled

if 18x10 wont fit front ill get 18x8.5 front and 18x10 rear

Question: I have an 02 I35 which I will be retiring in favour of an 15 G35x. Both have 17-inch wheels and 215/55/17 tires. Since the I35, at 250,000 kms, isn't going anywhere anytime soon, I would really like to sneak the wheels off and mount the summer tires to them for use on the G. Does anyone know - or is anyone capable of calculating - whether this will work?

It's gong to depend on the offsets of the wheel. 10" has been done on the front of a sedan but without knowing what the offset is we can't really guess what the fitment will be like. You'll probably have to do a little bit of work for the 10 but 8.5 will be fine.

You should be fine. Tirerack.com lists 215/55/17 as one of the original equipment options so you shouldn't have any speedometer or VDC issues. Offsets on the factory I35 are in the 40-45mm range so they should fit OK but won't be flush. If you're talking about aftermarket wheels then disregard that last bit.

Thank you Leksikon, I can do crosswords but not so smart at the technical stuff! And yes, I am talking stockers on the I35. So that is good news.

18x10 +25

18x8.5 +30

Will that 18x10 work on rear atleast without any issues just a rolled fender or would I still have to do fender work on the rear to get that to fit?

My problem is that i want the same great stretch look i have in the back, as well as a bit more tire to fill in that MASSIVE wheel gap in the front. I dont know if the reason for the HUGE difference in tire is in hte profile, the diameter, or hell maybe its just that they are different tire companies.

The car will be lowered a bit more, depending on how the newer tires sit. Im not going ot to lip to fender, but i want the same look i have with the rear.

Here is what the rear looks like: 275/30/20 Hankooks

Nobody able to help me? Should i just go for all 4 new tires with new sizes?

But is that with the Hankook or any other tire? And how exactly will that keep the same stretch, and give me more profile? The 225 im running now has barely a stretch wit hthe generals. While i see 225s for Hankook to be a good stretch?
