Tein CS rattle sound

hello G35 owner's,

I recently installed the Tein CS coilovers on my 04 6MT, everything turned out great in terms of comfort and what I was looking for.

Now since the installation I've noticed a slight rattle sound (when going over certain bumps) in the rear, in particular the passenger side rear. I have no other mods and I'm running the stock 18's. It sounds as if something is loose, however my installer doubled checked and everything is secure. Is this type of sound normal? Is this just the spring? Have any of you experienced this?

I just want to be sure my suspension was installed properly.

Very much appreciated.

Thanks!

In most cases you will find that the sway bars are making the noise.
I would double check all bolts and add a bit of w-40 to all mounts.

I haven't upgraded the sway bars, only the coilover setup.

Alan - Let me know what you find out?

I will take another look, however others have told me Tein coilovers will make rattle sounds.

Thanks guys!

I have the CS as well and there is noise coming from the passenger side but, it is not a rattling noise. More like a creaking sound - sounds like panels shifting from side to side. It only occurs when I go slowly over bumps or when I drive onto a ramp. Is that what you're hearing?

I have the tein flex. A friend and I installed it and the rears were making a creaking sound. SO i had took it to a mechanic and the results where that something was installed the wrong way (cant remember what it was). So he had took them out and reinstalled them. After that there was no noise.

Actually the noise I'm hearing could pass for a creaking sound btwn panels too.

Does anyone know what might cause this noise during installation? Like I mentioned my installer double checked all and it looked good. If I bring it back I would like to give him something specific to refer too.

Thanks!

I have been eyeing the Tein CS for sometime now. What are the bushings made of on the CS, rubber, poly? Is it possible coming from these joints? I have had a couple coilover setups on my other cars, all H&R and haven't had any porblems.
