If anyone know of some, please post as much info as you can, like a url where they can be bought,.......please.
Maybe the title of this thread should read

Re: brakes...
How long until you need new pads? I want to change mine too. The brake dust is obsurd! I want a pad that is equal to or better than the stock ones with minimul brake dust.

Re: brakes...
StrictlyZ has the Hawk HPS pads for front and rear listed on their website, though they don't list model numbers or pricing.

Re: brakes...
axxis metal matrix are available thru Grubbs or Scottsdale infiniti.
i bought mine from Scottsdale Infiniti (parts guy named Joe)
Go join Nissan Infiniti Club (www.nissaninfiniticlub.com) and then you can get the DEAL
my front and rear pads were 75.00 TOTAL from them
I have little to no brake dust now, jsut make sure you read up on full metal brake pads when you go to change them.
I will post part numbers if you like?

Can you clarify what you mean by this? I'm interested in part numbers.

Re: brakes...
full metal brakes are not as good at cold stopping. Some full metal brake pads will NOT stop the car at all the first couple times you hit the pedal. You have to warm them up by dragging them.
However, the Metal Matrix ones like I bought are an excellent compromise pad. They have above average cold stopping, excellent hot stopping, but do fade more than some other full metals.
In comparison to stock, I find I need to allow extra distance or drag the brakes on cool mornings the first time or two I stop. Your first stop in the morning you will know you have performance pads on, the rest of the day it will be almost exactly like the stock pads. I do find I can lock up the brakes sooner than normal and trigger ABS faster.
So, if your goal is to have the best 30 to zero or 60 to zero pads stay with the stock ones. However if you like to go 120 to 50 as fast as you can with less fade and less brake dust, go with the metal matrix. If you drive like me and avoid ABS stops most of the time by braking early in traffic, these work fine.
Did any of that make sense? By they way, I have not noticed any brake dust yet at all. Because of this, I assume I am killing the rotors faster but no data on that yet. No brake squeal at all.
