Got it. Thanks.

Another question. On the 2006 g35 will i need to take the stock subwoofers out to fit the 4080 box?
I got the passenger side 4080 box. Looks like the box wont slide in w/o taking the stock sub, sticking out from the top, out but i might be wrong.

The 4080 box sits behind the rear tires. The stock subs and 6x9s sit in the rear deck, so unless you have an aftermarket sub, there's no way at all they even get close to one another.

If you're talking about the zenclosures box that sits behind the rear seats, however, I think it fits without removing them.

Regardless, you should remove the factory sub or 6x9s so that the bass can get into the cabin.

^ i had to slide it at an angle and it slide in.
if you try to put in it straight, the 6x9 hanging from the top, comes in the way.
this is the case of a 06 g35 coupe.

I didn't even know there was a factory subwoofer o.o.

It's recommended to remove the 6x9's in the rear deck?

My zenclosure box slid in without removing anything, but was a little difficult to figure out at first.

look nice but where did the box come from or did you make the box yourself and im just worried about the

You need to be able to convert 18 gauge wires to an RCA jack to connect to the amp. One way was to get an RCA jack with a twisted pair of wires that you can cut and then splice. Another option is to get the JL line conversion that I used (pricey - $25, but I couldn't wait for mail-order). Splice them with in-line splicers available at Radio Shack and tape it up with electrical tape.

i dont think i understand this if i get the adapter which wire goes where? and where do i get one of the adapters at/

well welcome to the community and the rear deck speakers are your factory "subs" as far as i know. dome people say remove them but i left them in place and they still produce sound and it doesn't bother me.

It should still work; however i would wire the rca from the amp to the back of the headunit instead of having it wired to the stock bose amp. This way you can have better control of the sub amp and subwoofer.
