Thanks for all of your help......... Do you think it is worth it to get the Kenwood with 5V pre-outs since I will be doing more amps and upgrading my door speakers. or is the 4V fine. Not sure If I would notice the difference.....

Nah, 2 volt to 4 volt may be audible, but I doubt 4 to 5 would be noticeable unless you had a very hardcore sound quality setup.

How big of a deal is it with 2V pre out vs 4V pre outs. I will be hooking up amps. Will it be very noticeable???

Also,
Do I still need a wiring harness if I am getting aftermarket speakers and amps?

2 to 4, might be noticeable with quality component speakers. Subs? Probably not.

Yes, you still need a wiring harness, but you can use the 70-7550 instead of the ROEM-NIS2.

Thank you as always!!! I got my DD JDM kit already and I am going to have a stereo shop install it. I just want to make sure they know what I want!

They were only $320 yesterday, a fantastic deal.

4 replacements is the most I've heard somebody doing, but if it's waranteed, might as well let the dealership fix it for free... make Infiniti pay for the POS radios as many times as possible.
Do you have experience with sonicelectronix.com? I am debating buying the AVH-4300DVD now and wondering if I should buy it from Amazon or Sonicelectronix for $399.99??

Sonicelectronix isn't bad at all, I've picked up parts from them a few times.

Now I need to decide on a head unit. More than likely it will be either the Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT or the Kenwood DNX-7180. The guy from the Stereo shop said that Kenwood uses the Garmin Navigation and he knows a few clients that were not happy with the Pioneer navigation. Although he did say that they are both great and I have had good experience with Pioneer in the past. Any opinions on the two would be appreciated.
You know what, i actually had my GF's mom solder it since she solders airplane panels at work... the whole removing o the button was easy though

JZ,
Thx for the info.......would love to come out to LA ..... but cant swing it. I called a local custom stereo shop and asked them if they would match Amazon ..... they got within $25 and I can take it back to them if I have any issues with it. Out the door with installation, harness, antenna adaptor. , I should be around $500 for the AVH4300. I will update this week if I get it done, especially since I am twitching for another amp and new components

Silver Tiburon made a great post on how to wire up the Metra Axxess ASWC, so I linked to it in the resources section.

That means theyre only charging you less than $100 for install. Thats pretty good. I just hope they dont break anything. Try and print out an oem stereo removal guide for them so they dont break anything.

But i suggest you do it. Its pretty easy. Youre not keeping the steering wheel controls?

Which steering wheel controller is easier to install or better? The PAC SWI-PS or the Metra Axxess ASWC? Thanks

ASWC. No resistor wiring required.

SWEET!!!!! Cause I just ordered the ASWC on Amazon with an Ipod Cable.

My indecisiveness is over .... lol I ordered the AVIC - 930BT. Hopefully I can exercise some patience when it comes to the install.
