I figured it out. I kept trying to look at it on my ipad out in the garage. No flash on those though, duh. Damn Apple. Works fine on my PC inside. Thanks.

Hey wrathernaut, hopefully, last question. I have everything installed including my clarion hu. Any ways, everything seems to be working fine, but i have no audio. Hu powers up and receives and says it's playing cd's. The only things i can think of are either the manual adjustments on the pacroemnis which i haven't touched. The other thing is that i have it wired into the low level plugs and I'm wondering if i should try the high level plugs... Thanks!

I'm not familiar with clarion units, so it may be a setting in the radio to toggle between low and high power outputs, or you may have to use the high level plugs.

That's kind of what I was thinking. Everything works fine as far as the radio, but no matter what the volume no sound. I'll check the settings on the radio to see if it gives me an option to select between the two and if not it'll only take a minute to rewire those 4 wires.

will the PAC ROEM-NIS2 give better sound compared to using the 70-7551? i would need to turn the volume past 30 before i can hear anything.

When keeping Bose amplifier, yes. Without the Bose amplifier, no.

^ If you can fix it yourself, yeah, otherwise, no. The F900BT was a well-featured unit, but had too many quirks and bugs and general slowness I wouldn't bother.

Ohhh I see. It's kind of iffy, but was hoping I could get it for cheaper and try it out. Maybe not, but what are you thoughts on refurbished headunits?

Like this for example

You don't have to answer that previous question. Ended up winning a bid on ebay for a nice new one for pretty cheap, but anyways..

Just making sure.. if I get this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...-99-7604T.html

I'll still have to buy a new AC controller?

There's this one if you can find a good 9v DPDT relay, it doesn't mute, just swaps the audio at driver's front speaker:

Hey bro, it's been a while. I'm finally get the chance to continue working on this.

Got couple Q for you.

Do you know the exact voltages of Pin 24 and Pin 30?

I'm expecting Pin 24 to be 9V.

We can look at this

http://search.digikey.com/scripts/dk...&name=Z1636-ND

it has 8.4VDC as turn on voltages, so it should be good. They don't have anything at 9VDC.

Ended up getting a Pioneer BT3200. Would I have to worry about the video brake bypass?

Blah nvm. Should add that to the front page cause I totally forgot to buy that -__-.

do you think the PAC ROEM-NIS2 will be that much more of a difference while keeping the factory amp? i dont want to tear apart my entire dash again just for slight gains. i have no plans to upgrade my speakers or replacing the amp at this time, so this will be my last resort in improving the audio.

i had to swap the buttons out from the OEM climate control to the jdm climate control so they would match the buttons on the OEM navi. the only small problem is the dividers between rear defrost - uncirculate and mode - ac buttons are still black. but oh well

^ Looks good. There's got to be a matching Testors model paint that'll take care of the black plastic for you.
