So I hooked the wires up for the ASWC-1 according to the color guide on this thread and I got the volume up and forward seek buttons and the mute button to work but volume down, seek down and mode do not work. 2007 coupe with nav
I had this happen to me before and it ended up being my clock spring.
after I replaced my clock spring everything was working ok.
my car is a 2006 g35.
let me see if there’s a difference between 06 and 07 SWC wires
all the buttons worked prior to the DD install. I got all buttons working except mute. Mute worked prior so now idk which wire goes to the two aswc wires lol

I used iDatalink SW for my steering wheel controls. It has way more options on what buttons do.
For mute in my car I press and hold volume down for 2 sec and let go to mute the radio.
i have short press and long press setup so each button can do 2 things.
i do not remember the wire colors on the wire but if you look at the pic connect to the correct pin in the connector and you will be good.
ASWC may not support mute feature in some cars. I never tried it in my car so I can’t compare.
i went with iDatalink maestro from the door because of the extra options and easier installation but it’s more expensive then aswc.
